Position: Reservations/Front Desk
Job Summary:
We are looking for reservationists/front desk employees from ski resorts to work on Hatteras Island for the summer. Gain new knowledge and skills from working in a fun and fast paced environment! Employment is from May/June through the end of August/September. Airfare, transportation and inexpensive accomodations are provided. Many people return year after year because they enjoy our beautiful pristine beaches and positive, fun working environment. Multi-tasking opportunities are available with housekeeping/maintenance dispatch and home inspecting.
Essential Qualifications :
- Experienced in Property Plus software and/or reservations and front desk customer service
- Self-motivated with great communication skills
- Ability to positively interact with rental guests, homeowners and other employees
- Willing to work from May/June through the end of August/September
Benefits:
- Pay commensurate with experience (Minimum $10/hour)
- Inexpensive accomodations close to the beach, shopping and area attractions. Accomodations include mobile home, Surf Motel efficiency room, or will help find short-term apartment/rental home.

Position: Guest Services Specialist/Reservationist
Job Summary:
This position is for motivated individuals with great communication skills who can work in a fun and fast-paced environment. Earn $28-30k with paid full benefit package: medical, dental and life, paid vacations, matching 401(k) retirement program and yearly retention/profit bonus program.

Position: General Maintenance- Summer Position
Job Summary:
Everyday tasks include fixing window and door slider screens, minor plumbing and electrical work, carpentry, changing A/C filters, cleaning hot tubs and private swimming pools, performing maintenance on our office building and pool complex, programming TVs and electronic equipment, and doing and and all assigned tasks. Weekend work is a must.
Job Requirements :
- Knowledge of general maintenance (general handyman skills)

Position: General Housekeeping
Job Summary
This position consists of fulfilling all assigned duties relating to laundry operation, cleaning and housekeeping inspection. Some tasks include spot carpet cleaning, laundry delivery and rental home inspection.
Job Requirements:
- Ability to use commercial washer and dryers (we will train)
- Valid drivers license (minimum 3 years driving experience)
- Ability to positively interact with rental guests and other employees
- Ability to lift 30-40 lbs (bags of laundry)

Position: Seasonal cleaner/Office facility cleaner
Job Summary:
Our 13,000 SF office facility just next to the Avon Post Office must be cleaned on a regular basis. On the weekends, the position would require working with the housekeeping department to maintain guest cottages (i.e. clean and sanitize rooms, dust furniture, sweep and vacuum floors, change linens, transport trash). It also requires the ability to lift weights up to 20-30 lbs. You will be working a 40 hour week (overtime could be 0-7 hours/week). Weekend work is a must.
