The kids had their own "apartment" downstairs and they loved the "freedom" it gave them and we parents didn't mind so much either!! We have rented in OBX several times, but this was our first stay at the Southern end of OBX. It was far less touristy and we loved all the local culture we soaked up...not to mention having the beach practically to ourselves even during July 4th week! Being able to wake up to face the ocean and sit on the back deck in the evenings made every day a joy! Your home was beautiful. Thanks for sharing it.
