My family is very comfortable in this home and enjoy all the amenities. Love the Hot tub and Jacuzzi. Very private area . Enjoy rear access to home with only several steps and lower bedroom/bath. My daughter is disable and this is very easy for her to climb stairs.

Very comfortable vacation home. Located in a nice secluded area. Rooms are large and comfortably furnished. Very large yard for a beach home. Nice swing on front porch and extra fridge came in handy. Has one double kayak rather than the two single kayaks stated. Like all cottages on the Outer Banks, watch for snakes and secure personal items and lock your cars at night.

Christine-A-Mar was a wonderful house to vacation in on Hatteras. The layout of the house allowed us to each have our own space and a large common area. The kitchen was stocked pretty well and we really enjoyed the linens provided. The screen on the door to the steps on the screened in porch is torn, so our dog escaped several times and it allowed mosquitos in, so be prepared to block the door if you have a dog and bring something to combat mosquitos. Also beware of snakes near the canal. We also enjoyed taking the kayak to the sound, but we couldn't find the outlet to the sound from the canal. Enjoy your vacation!

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this house!!! we had people stay with us, so they had the downstairs where they could come and go as they please w/o bothering us. this house is inviting and cozy, with space. it gives that home away from home feeling. all the rooms are big. we are planning to stay again in October '10. we have stayed in 4 other houses and this is our fav! you have your PRIVACY. the only down fall, not enough pans for cooking and we had trouble with the electric can opener and the manual was broke. so bring a can opener just in case. we did not get the fire place working but i think that is because there is no instructions on how to use it and we do not own one. bring tp, d/w and dish soap. it does have a steamer. best house we have ever stayed in!!!!!!!!!!!
