There was a great view of the Avon Pier and some of the surfers. The beds were so comfortable, and it was perfect for our family of four. There were quite a few stairs to get to the third floor, but we adjusted quickly. Hattaras Realty was also very attentive. We had one small issue with a door knob and it was fixed within two hours. It is on the fourth level and was 63 steps, so consider that if stairs are a challenge. The kitchen was stocked with utensils but there is absolutely no extras like condiments or spices. Each guest was provided one towel and one washcloth. Two trash bags and rolls of toilet paper were all that was provided. Even though as some other reviews suggest, the condo is a bit outdated, it would not deter us from renting this condo again. The location is great (we’ve been in OBX multiple times and love Avon!) and the ocean views can’t be beat. Waking up every morning to the sun rising over the ocean was amazing. If you’re a family like ours, and aren’t bothered by the condo being a little outdated, I would highly recommend this rental! - Melissa W. The location can’t be beat, wake up everyday and walk to the beach or fish on the Avon pier then get a great breakfast at Stus. Have a beer and watch the sunset from the front deck, and watch it rise on the back deck. Grocery shopping and restaurants all within walking distance. I’ve stayed many places over the years, most are $2000 plus a week, this was $800 total for 2 weeks ocean front, being one of the best deals out there this last year.
