I really needed to do Zoom meetings, but the Wi-Fi was weak in the room, so I went to the club house, and it was a little stronger there. We were there doing the off season (early April) so it was quiet, relaxing and no crowds. We were in Buxton (Cape Hatteras) area. I recommend getting groceries before you arrive - the kitchen is fully equipped. The shopping and dining in this area is sparse. It was pretty quiet there and we were able to relax and enjoy the ocean. Everything was in good working order while we were there. We did open the sleeper sofa once to enjoy the sounds of the ocean and that bed was extremely uncomfortable, not a big deal for us but for anyone else wanting to use that as a bed for the night would find it difficult to have a good night. Elevators worked and there were no issues. Laundry room was clean and well maintained. If I could suggest one thing, it would be that someone post a notice that the luggage carts are located in the laundry room on the 1st floor. We were informed by another guest. My wife and I loved staying here and would do so again, but it may not be the best choice for larger families with older children.
