Custom designed and constructed in 2022, this luxury oceanfront home is inspired by the magic of the place and memories of childhood summers on a barrier island. Immerse yourself in the sea, the sky, the sound of waves, and the comfort of this gorgeous home. Nine-foot ceilings throughout elevate the sense of space. Artwork in each room celebrates the birds, fish, and seashells of the region. The soothing neutral palette is enhanced by modern décor, much of it custom designed and built for this house, accented by select vintage pieces.

Ground Level Entry: Park under the house for dry entry access to unpack and load the elevator with groceries and luggage for the first or second floor. For your convenience, a Level 2 Autel charger is located at the north parking bay. Walk up a half-flight, and you’ll find a landing with hooks for jackets, hats, and beach bags. Or enter from the front steps through the Mid-Century Modern door into the entry hall. Straight ahead is a glass door to the deck at the back of the house, with pool and hot tub access, overlooking the dunes.

First Floor: The Cure is one of the only wheelchair-accessible oceanfront homes, featuring a primary king suite with a roll-in shower and deck access. The bedroom across the hall includes two sets of custom built-in bunks and thoughtful touches, such as individual bedside lights with USB ports and even a super fun bluetooth ceiling fixture for dance parties with the kids. Another king bedroom with dune-views shares the hall bath with the bunk room. The full-feature LG stack washer/dryer is located on this level. The den is tucked away with a big TV, floating cabinets filled with games, a sofa, two recliners, and an array of floor pillows for movie night or a quiet place to read. The barn door is a work of art, different on both sides.

In addition to the large TVs in the den and great room, we provide two 32” TVs that can be used in any bedroom.

Second Floor: Drink in the spectacular ocean views from an open plan great room boasting multiple sitting areas, a floating cabinet, TV, and clerestory with double glass doors to a furnished deck with full ocean sightlines. Check out the mini library with shell, bird, and fish identification books. Enjoy the sunset from the reading nook, or sit at the game table with an ocean-facing window. A powder room is tucked away by the elevator.

The well-equipped gourmet kitchen with quartz countertops and under-cabinet lighting makes cooking and serving easy. Enjoy a coffee grinder, electric tea kettle, cookware from baking sheets to large stock pots, refrigerator with dual ice makers, oven with an air-fry option, plus all the hand tools – including an electric knife sharpener. An extra beverage/wine fridge provides additional space to chill drinks at the dry bar. The dining table seats ten or more, plus bar seating.

Third Floor: The stairway to the third floor is a treat, with glimpses of the sound and the western sky. A balcony at the top of the stairs overlooks the great room. Two primary king suites are acoustically isolated from each other on either side of the great room below. Like the other bedrooms, each has a custom-designed headboard and floating bedside tables with USB charging ports, a dresser, a closet, and hook bars for towels and clothes. Lie in bed and gaze at the ocean. Step out on your private deck to spot dolphins or enjoy the night sky. The bathrooms each have tile showers with contemporary glass doors and vanities with quartz countertops.

Facing west between the two primary suites is a bonus multi-purpose room, dubbed the Zoom Room. For the vacationer who needs a desk to do a bit of work, this room is the perfect refuge. It also doubles as a nursery for a family with a baby or toddler. We provide a Pac ’n Play crib so you can maintain a bedtime routine in this separate room next to the parents’ suite.

Pool Area: The large outdoor living area features a private saltwater pool - remember, it cures anything! An array of chaises and Adirondack chairs, plus a bar for serving lunch or drinks and a gas grill, invite everyone to gather poolside. Enjoy the hot tub under the stars. By the pool entrance, you’ll find your private path to the beach. A foot wash station and outdoor shower are all located for easy access from poolside or beach.
