Description

You're in for a treat at Special K's #142. Situated in the middle of a large lot in Rodanthe that runs from Highway 12 to the beach, this retreat is full of amenities, spacious living quarters, and multiple spots to hang out and enjoy the gorgeous ocean views. Special K has a long private drive leading to plenty of paved parking space, direct access to the beach, a private pool and hot tub, a game room, and an elevator. The home is also dog-friendly. There is high-speed WiFi, two outdoor showers, and two sets of washers and dryers for your convenience.

The game room rests on the first level. Here you'll find a lounge area, a TV, a kitchenette with a full fridge, a Ping-Pong table, and a stereo. From here you can access the back decks and pool area. The backyard is perfect for entertaining family and friends. Multiple levels of decks provide plenty of shade and sun, and the sand volleyball court and large fenced-in pool area are right beside the beach!

The home totals six bedrooms in all, five of which are primaries with a private bathroom. The room that is not a primary has a double set of bunks for the kids and a full bathroom right next door. A foyer area sits in the middle of this floor with a couch, a desk, and a TV. There is a back entrance here as well which provides access for all rooms to the second level deck with a walkway to the pool area.

The third floor is sure to be your group's favorite hangout. The kitchen and great room are equipped with comfy furnishings and all the necessities to cook your favorite dishes. Spread out across the four-person breakfast bar, four-person kitchen table, and 10-person dining room table. Whether you are cooking in the kitchen or have your feet kicked up on the couch, you'll be treated to a perfect view of the ocean. Sliding glass doors on this floor lead out to the sun deck with access to the pool area.

For the furthest escape of all, head all the way up to the tower lounge area. Equipped with a TV/DVD set up and comfy furniture, this is a perfect place for a mid-afternoon nap or a late-night movie. To top it off, you'll find sliding glass doors that open to a third-level patio with reclining chairs and an unbeatable vantage point to watch the ocean waves come crashing in.
