The Ocracoke Passenger Ferry is coming this spring!

In our previous blog post we gave details of the new passenger ferry and at the time was predicted to start runs between Hatteras and Ocracoke Islands in the summer 2018. After a long wait, the passenger ferry is slated to launch on May 14th, starting with three trips per day.

The passenger ferry will depart from the Hatteras ferry terminal and take passenger on a speedy 70-minute cruise through the Pamlico Sound and down into Silver Lake, located in the heart of Ocracoke Village.
