We loved the house and the location. Please be aware of a leak in the drain directly above the hose on the lowest level.

Everything was as described. Hatteras Realty communicated promptly. The house was clean and very well stocked, especially the kitchen. The owners provided everything you needed for a relaxing family vacation.

Fantastic area and a great house for enjoying the beach and local food. Expansive screened in porches add to the atmosphere and views. The picnic table on the porch was our go-to for every meal and the upper deck is a must for sunset. We already want to come back.

The house was tastefully decorated with a coastal theme that was not over the top or "cutesy." The owners obviously took a lot of care with the decor. Well-appointed kitchen with cabinets labeled as to location of items. That made it a lot easier to find things and to replace them.

This was an excellent vacation rental for our family trip to Avon. Plenty of space for 5 adults and 3 children. Beach access is very close and convenient. Hot tub was not used during the hot summer, but would be nice to use in the off-season. Great rental!

The stay was great. I was hoping to stay again this year in the same house for our annual fishing tournament the 3rd weekend in October but the listing this year makes you stay for 7 days Saturday to Saturday so that will not work for us this year. We stayed Wednesday to Sunday. The house was perfect. Hopefully next year it will not be a 7 day minimum in October

I've been renting houses on Hatteras Island for decades and this house was, by far, the most well-stocked kitchen I've encountered. I also appreciated and initial stock of supplies for the kitchen: paper towels, dish soap, and dishwasher powder. The bedrooms and living room were comfortable and there were several games and puzzles available. The hot tub was great and beach access is across the street. I do wish the lower porch was accessible from the interior of the house.

Home was a great place for our family to stay. If we had one complaint, there are a lot of stairs, but once you're in, mostly everything is easy to get to. Beach access is right across the street too. Awesome home, will rent again!

The property was clean, accommodating, and had everything we needed and then some. The large multi-level porches were great, you could see the ocean from the top level, and there was a hot-tub and hammock for relaxation. The beach access was a minute walk from the door. The kitchen had every conceivable cookware and appliances, there were pet items available, and tons of boardgames and puzzles. This property is the easiest recommendation I can make.

This was our second stay at the Dancing Dolphin 106. The kitchen was well stocked. It is conveniently located to the path to the beach. It is dog friendly. Linens were included for the beds and towels for the bathrooms, which was a great surprise. We would definitely stay here again!

This was my granddaughter's first visit to the OBX, at 11 months old! Dancing Dolphin made it an even more special week for all our family! Thank you!!

If you want to get away from all the hustle, esp during these times, Avon is the place to try. This house is well kept w modern touches including a new top deck, decor and nice kitchen finishes. Very clean and so convenient to the canal/sound and easy walk to the beach. Would love to see a dock, hot tub and maybe awning of some sort on part of the deck. Thank you for letting us enjoy your beautiful home!

As soon as we arrived, the house was cleaned and everything was in excellent working order. I love that we are able to unpack and settle in as quickly as possible without worrying about any messes or malfunctioning pool equipment or electronics. From start to finish, our stay was memorable and relaxing. My only complaint is that we couldn`t afford to stay longer.
