Get all four paws good and salty at 4 Salty Paws! This three-bedroom, semi-oceanfront home in Avon offers you and your pup everything you need for a memorable beach getaway. Outside, find plenty of paved parking and shady spots on the lawn, or pop over to the wooded dune boardwalk just across the street to be at the beach in a minute. In between beach sessions, head up to the spacious deck or crow's nest for a cat nap in the sun, or sneak out to the screened hot tub for a bubbly soak to the peaceful sounds of the ocean breeze. This home also has access to the Club Hatteras Pool just blocks away. The fun doesn't stop at the door, as this cheery cottage brings sunny beach vibes from the outside in. Gather around the dining table at mealtime, spread out on the comfy couches in the living room for a game or movie night, and retire to your favorite of the three bedrooms: a king bedroom, a queen bedroom, and a room with a double and a single bed. The king bedroom is a primary suite while the queen shares a full hallway bath with the double/single room.

the october weather was ok, but the hottub made it really nice. very comfortable house. superfast wifi (600mbs), 4k streaming sticks on both tvs. Really short walk to the beach.

Perfect for a family. Great location to the beach. Vacationed with teenagers and they were able to walk to everything that interested them. Great place to relax and enjoy nature.

The house is very nice and it's a 2 minute walk to the gas station and a great restaurant. The beach is also only a few minutes walk away. There's a boardwalk that leads straight over the dunes and it's right next to the driveway! The crows nest on top of the house is pretty cool, too. Not much of a view up there but it's a great place to sit in the evenings. The best part of this place is the screened in hot tub room.

This home had a great location. Steps from the beach access and walking distance to many shops and restaurants. Quick drive to other towns as well. House itself was very clean and nicely decorated. WiFi was spotty at times but we were mostly on the beach anyway. There is currently construction a road the street that was annoying at times but that’s just temporary!

This is a sweet little beach house, nicely decorated and in a good location. We appreciated the little touches and the house is very well equipped with everything you may need. Our only complaint was the loud construction noise across the street and their vehicles taking some of our available parking.

We loved this home. Tastefully decorated and it fit 4 adults perfectly. The bathrooms are not large, but there is a huge outdoor shower under house. The hot tub area was perfect with nice finishes. You are surrounded by taller houses so don’t expect much of a view. There is public beach access right off the driveway. Note taller vehicles will not fit under the house parking. My late model Sonata fit with about 16” of clearance.

House was impeccably clean and decorated, with every amenity necessary for 3 adults, 2 older kids. Great location, literally right at the boardwalk to the beach and also walking distance to may stores and eateries. Hot tub was great on cooler days. As a runner, I enjoyed the sidewalk for exercise throughout Avon. Free pickleball in Buxton at the rec center, only 2 miles away, occupied a teenager nicely as well. Everything with Vacasa went as planned, including a text to check in early if we desired.

My wife and I spent a week here, to change our scenery, while the kids were traveling. It is nicely designed, has everything you need inside and is very comfortable. The internet worked great, allowing us to work a little, between long walks on the beach. Semi-Oceanfront, means one house back, so there is no real view from the deck, unless you like the look of other houses, but this is certainly considered in the pricing. A 2 minute walk, across the street, puts you on a beautiful and uncrowded beach. In March, when we went, it was deserted.....just like we had hoped. Food offerings in the area are limited to fried seafood, with fires and coleslaw, but we took and made our own, mostly, and the kitchen was well supplied to allow for this. In short, a really nice, low cost, peaceful and well equipped place, that is easily accessible to the beach. I would certainly consider this place again.

This home was very clean upon our arrival and in very good shape. The only thing that could be better is lighting under the house. The lights there seemed to be burnt out/not working.

We had a great relaxing worry free vacation. This place not only has comfy living room and relaxing amenities like the hot tub room but also has every utensil needed to cook, bake and purée. We cooked every nite except the last and the kitchen was stocked which made it a joy! The beach walk is so close which made us feel comfortable letting kiddos come and go. The décor throughout the cottage seemed well thought out and suits each room perfectly. We love this place and will continue to come here each year.

The hose was amazing! Super updated and comfortable! And sooooo clean didn’t have the yuck rental feel at all! My family had an amazing time.

If you are looking for a great beach house to accommodate a smaller family, 4 Salty Paws is an excellent option. The house is comfortable with a great kitchen and outdoor deck. Beach access is just a few steps from the home, very convenient for grabbing lunch and taking a mid-day beach break. The outdoor shower looked newly updated and offered a great option when returning from the sun and sand. The bedrooms were comfortable and we appreciated the towel and linen service. We would definitely consider this home again when planning a return to OBX.

The house is very nice and it's a 2 minute walk to the gas station and a great restaurant. The beach is also only a few minutes walk away.
