Welcome to Sunshine, a delightful, semi-oceanfront home in Avon with a private pool, a brand-new hot tub, a game room, and plenty of bright and beachy areas to make memories with the whole family. Updates for 2022 include new carpeting, new outdoor furniture, new exterior lighting and paint, new interior paint, and new TVs. Outside, a paved driveway provides plenty of parking, and a spacious deck surrounds the large swimming pool. Inside, you'll find an expansive game room with a pool table, foosball, a kitchenette, and ample seating - a great spot for cooling off after a day at the beach, which is a short walk away. On the main floor, prepare your favorite meals in the well-equipped kitchen, share them at the 10-person dining table and the three-person breakfast bar, then gather on the new furniture for games and movies in the living room. Don't miss the incredible views from the third-floor deck, an excellent spot for a cup of coffee at sunrise and a glass of wine at sunset

We very much enjoyed our stay! The house worked perfectly for our family of ten. We loved the close access to the beach, the pool table, and the hot tub. It really felt like a home away from home.

The pool at the house was huge. The house was spacious and had good views from the deck. Shops are close by. We weren't able to use the pool or beach much cause of the windy cloudy weather but that's mother nature's fault. Mattresses were super firm. Had to drive over an hour to Walmart to get a pad so I could sleep. I would recommend buying or bringing one ahead of time so save yourself a 2.5hr drive.

The location of the house was wonderful. View of ocean was semi obstructed but still good. Beds were a bit uncomfortable. Pool was wonderful but it could have used a mid week cleaning.

My family has been coming to the Outer Banks specifically Avon since 2006 and this is the first house that I have said that I would definitely come back to. The living room furniture was so comfortable which is hard to find. The kitchen is pretty well stocked with pots and pans if you plan on preparing meals at the house. Just a really nice welcoming home.

The internet was not working when we arrived. I called the given number. The person took care of calling Spectrum and walked me through how to get it working. I couldn’t have been more pleased with the help I received.

Our family really enjoyed our stay at the house. The pool is a major perk with younger children! The beach is a short walk away and the house is also walking distance to ice cream and other attractions. Two big outdoor showers and a hot tub also were really nice. We would recommend this house! The beds were really not uncomfortable despite what some of the other reviews noted.

Sunshine had everything we needed and offered fantastic ocean views and close proximity to Avon’s wide beach. We loved the huge swimming pool, hot tub, the pool table, and stargazing from the top deck. Kitchen was well-stocked. Overall, Sunshine was a great beach house for our family!

Beds were advertised as having 2 kings and only one room had a king. The beds are pretty noisy too. There were a few cleaning issues. Made them aware. Great location. Hopefully they will correct the description and double check the cleaning. Overall a good property.

Perfect spacing and rooms! Layout of the house works for having pirvacy along with the kitchen and living room opened for socializing. Great location. House was very clean and comfortable. Nice house! Fun fuse ball and pool table for middle school kid's age. Double sink in the kitchen was very helpful when more than one person in the kitchen. Wonderful memories!

This home is a great place to stay! If you are like me and don't read the location of the rooms, be prepared for the kitchen on the top floor. The rooms are nice and the kitchen, dining, living room is spacious. Remember to bring beach towels along if you plan to go to the beach at all. I wpuld recommend staying here.

Me and a couple guys come every year to go tuna fishing. Arrived on a Friday afternoon. The house was immaculate and smelled good . Was a beautiful thing that every bedroom had its own full bathroom. We brought some food with us to cook at night and the house was stocked with all the pots ,pans , and utensils to cook anything. One thing we forgot was salt and pepper. Opened a cabinet up and there it was amazing. Highly recommend.

Our family was looking for a low-key place to relax and recharge during Christmas and the house with its proximity to the beach were the perfect combination for a peaceful vacation. The house was clean, and the amenities exceeded my expectations. My family enjoyed the puzzles, board games, streaming services, hot tub, proximity to beach, and game room. Overall, we are very satisfied and hope to come back next year. The only issue was that the gas grill was very dirty, but we didn't plan to use it, so it didn't affect us.

This home has great amenities and a beautiful view of the ocean. The kitchen was well stocked, there was ample furniture of good quality in the living and dining areas, as well as on the decks and pool deck. The beds are firm, but I personally prefer that. The pool was spacious and clean. The hot tub was great and actually has an ocean view. We stayed her for a week with our family and thoroughly enjoyed our time. There was a minor maintenance issue at the beginning of our trip, but Vacasa remedied it very quickly. The home was very clean upon arrival.

We really enjoyed the home for the week. Well equipped and comfortable. Nice set up for a week visit. Enjoyed everything except the home owner not paying the cable bill and the tv being disconnected. Despite being made aware of the situation on day 1 nothing was done about it for 6 days. Other than that. Would recommend as a family friendly home!

Upon arrival was one of the cleanest houses we have ever rented. Pool was perfect large enough to actually do laps. Walk to beach was very close. Everything inside the house was immaculate. Loved the pool table. Only downside was the privacy of the pool other houses were very close. Would rent this house again

This house is very well stocked with anything you could need in the kitchen. There are plenty of books, puzzles and games. The house is very comfortable. Everything was great, pillows and blankets could use some updating but other than that everything worked out really well for our stay.

This home was clean when we arrived and well maintained. The kitchen was well stocked and cabinets are labeled. The furniture looks new inside as well the deck furniture. The pool is also very refreshing. It is a short walk to the beach and very close to restaurants and shopping. All appliances are great!

We had a wonderful week stay here! The house is so well organized with labels for everything! The kitchen had all or more than we could possibly need including a crock pot and a pressure cooker! The only thing lacking were any extra blankets. We had a couple of cool days and a throw blanket or two would have been welcome. Otherwise, we loved the proximity to the beach and the lovely beach views. The hot tub was fabulous and my son enjoyed the pool (but it was too chilly for the rest of us in mid-April)! The game room and all the puzzles, movies and games were also great on our one rainy day. Thanks for a great week!
