Oceanside Spot O' Sun is spot on when it comes to relaxation. Located only five lots from the beach, this Hatteras-style cottage offers classic charm, convenient one-level living, a charcoal grill and is perfect for a small family. The relaxing living area has comfortable furniture and is open to the nicely-equipped kitchen. A built-in bar allows you to effortlessly serve your tasty creations to your group. The sunroom at the front of the house is sure to be your family's favorite spot to gather at the end of the day. Down the hall, three bedrooms await. The first bedroom has a queen bed. The second bedroom has a double bed. The third bedroom has a set of bunks. Each of the three bedrooms has a TV and a DVD player. A conveniently located hall bath is easily accessible to all. This little house was perfect for us and our 4 kids. It had everything we could have asked for. Hope to book this house again.

This house is bathed in fun colors and has a wonderfully beach-y feel. It is very close to the beach and has nice amenities just down the street, with coffee shops, fish markets, a grocery store, and some shopping within 10 minutes or less driving. There are walking/biking paths along the main road so if you do want to take a walk/run/ride you could. While we were staying here the ac went out but VACASA was very prompt about sending someone out to diagnose and fix the issue. The house came well equipped with plenty of pots and pans, towels, blankets, and assorted beach items for use. The under-porch (you’ll see from the pictures) was a great place to cool off and feel the breeze but there were some rusty nails in the pebbles which I picked up and disposed of, maybe do a quick scan before walking around barefoot down there. The foot washing station was great and saved on mess in the house.

Perfect little cottage, steps from the beach. Cozy and clean with everything I needed to enjoy my stay. Best, my dogs were welcome!

It was a perfect beach house with lots of bright colors. Having the outdoor faucet to clean off the sand and the sunroom to leave sandy shoes was extremely helpful to keep the sand out of the house. I noticed other reviews said the beach was far away. We thought it was a perfectly normal distance. For those with mobility limitations it would pose a challenge though. The check in/out process was easy. Having the laundry onsite was a huge help. Overall a wonderful family getaway!

We loved the cozy space. We typically stay in small places and this one was great. We really enjoyed the enclosed air conditioned sun porch even on a rainy day. The only recommendation is to drop the outdated DVD/VCR and get a Roku or some other streaming device setup.

Spot O’Sun was small and cozy but perfect for two and two small fur babies. It provided anything you would need for a getaway. Our favorite part was probably the darling screen porch!

The place was a perfect fit for me and my three kids. It is the definition of a beach house. The sun porch was my favorite place to have coffee and meals, and to just chill. I loved hanging out under the house in the evenings. Short walk to the beach and the path the the beach isn't as bad as some of the other paths...much easier walk. I loved that it was also one level.

This was our 4th stay in Spot o Sun it is a beautiful home. It is well maintained and has everything in it that you need and then some. We spend most of our time on the enclosed porch. We love the new bar area that was added between the house and enclosed porch. Just a short walk to the beach.

This house was perfect for our family of 5! I appreciated the well stocked kitchen, it had everything we could have possibly needed and then some. The outdoor area underneath the house was a hit. We spent a good bit of time enjoying the hammock, playing darts and ring toss. It's a short walk to the beach. Nearby shops, restaurants and ice cream shops are also within walking distance. We enjoyed our stay at Spot O' Sun and will definitely be back!
