Plenty of windows will let in that delightful Outer Banks sunshine as you sit surrounded by the comfortable indoor splendor of the large great room with an elevated lookout area with colorful furnishings. The kitchen with a breakfast bar will give everyone a place to enjoy some treats and catch up on the day's adventures, or you can relax in the living room and enjoy a refreshing beverage from the wet bar while you watch a show on the TV. Perhaps you would prefer to read a book in the oversized cozy chairs in the lookout, the perfect place on a rainy day at the beach. Tired of eating indoors? Have a picnic or dine alfresco on the screen porch while enjoying the ocean breeze. Home was beautiful! Beach access was about 5 driveways down, so not a far walk. Very close to Food Lion. Needed assistance with getting into the home & Vacasa was very responsive & fixed the issue ASAP through phone calls & texts. Would absolutely stay again!

Views from the deck are nice. The home is spacious and the upstairs sunroom is perfect for relaxation. We also enjoyed the jacuzzi tub. Lastly and most importantly, the beach was beautiful!

House was located very close to restaurants and grocery store. It sat one house back from the beach. With the many decks you always had an ocean view. The house itself was beautiful. The beds were very comfortable. I guess the only complaint i could have is all the pillows were very flat, so bri g your own pillows! The kitchen was stocked with anything you could think to cook and serve food. There was a grill and a blackstone. The bedrooms were all on the same level but far enough apart for privacy. Be aware there are many steps to get up to the house. If you have any issues with that this would not be the house for you. However my family loved it!

Enjoyed a beautiful quick getaway weekend celebrating family. Gail's Force was a perfect size and location for our group. The easy access to the beach, supermarket and shopping was so convenient. The ability to enjoy the sound of the ocean, the views in the morning and evening offered much relaxation. The perfect, just off the beach location. We will surely book with you again when we can escape back to the Outer Banks.

We had a great Thanksgiving week at this home - very welcoming and comfortable. The home is clean and we were pleasantly surprised with all the linens, towels, etc. The layout is perfect and very spacious with great views all over the home. Great size kitchen with bar space and a large family table. One of our best choices over the years for our visits to OBX! **the site states two parking spaces and one other commented parking was tight. We easily parked 5 vehicles!!(4 trucks w/ fishing gear and one car). Great house & location!!

Overall, a great experience. All the comforts of home. Easy check in/out. Plenty of games & puzzles for rainy day or family game night. Walls actually very thick. Hard to hear anything in the other rooms. Great views from the deck while having morning coffee. Quiet neighborhood. I would definitely stay here again!

Great house

Great house in great location. Home was very clean and spacious. Parking was tight with full size trucks and rod racks but manageable with some careful navigation.

The house is beautiful, location is optimal to grocery store, restaurants, etc. 5 bedrooms all on the main level. Kitchen, dining and living room are big and comfortable. The decks are spacious. The viewing room up from the living room is when I stayed mostly, watching the waves. Very nice quiet neighborhood with beach access about 3 houses down. The house is as beautiful as the pictures.

The viewing room up from the living room is when I stayed mostly, watching the waves. Very nice quiet neighborhood with beach access about 3 houses down. The house is as beautiful as the pictures.

Excellent Home with a Great Location

This house is perfect for a family vacation. It is centrally located in Avon near the main shopping center on Hatteras Island. Very close walk to the beach, locally owned restaurants and shops. The house is very well maintained and is very clean. The large living room and dinning area provides enough seating to accommodate the entire family. We would definitely love to stay here again on our next vacation trip to Hatteras Island.
