Location was nice, there is no dock on the sound side, nor a buoy to tie the gear once in the water. Rest was good.

The location of this house is fabulous. The western orientation gave spectacular sunsets almost every night. The deck wraps around three sides of the house, and has a shaded table with benches. Living up to its name, the breezes are pretty near constant, and draw numbers of wind surfers, and parasailors to the area, giving interesting activity to watch on the water. The seagulls and brown pelicans put in regular appearances, wheeling and diving for fish. This modest house was clean, simply and comfortably furnished, kitchen well-equipped, and made for a most enjoyable family stay.

We had a great time on our vacation with some thanks to a great place to stay. The kitchen was stocked with everything you need to cook a meal for the family and the space was great to gather together. The location was awesome! We brought along our kayaks which we were able to store on a handy rack downstairs. We saw lots of crabs and fish in the shallow waters. There’s a small island a short distance from the house that was a great place to kayak around. And we were entertained on the deck watch the jet skiers, wind surfers and water skiers. The deck also provided a great place for sunset watching and star gazing!

This is our second year staying in Avon on the sound....would recommend this to anyone who wants to fish,kayak,windsurf,fish,kitesurf,fish,jetski and oh yeah fish in the sound. Sunsets are AWESOME. The house has a nice deck to relax on, outdoor furniture is excellent. Inside the house has obviously been renovated in the last few years and is nice. Beds are meh but it is a beach house so expected. One con is the downstairs furniture is stupid uncomfortable but the upstairs is nice. Ramps are within easy access so you can hit them with truck quickly. There is a dock and we were able to put our bay boat in and head out into the sound. 30 minutes from Ocracoke ferry. 15 minutes to Hatteras lighthouse.

Just had an incredible week staying at Breezy point. There is not a better home to stay at to have such incredible panoramic views of the water and sunsets! We had perfect weather and enjoyed the quality deck furniture every day. The home has everything you need to enjoy a great visit to the OBX!

We loved the house, location, well-kept, nicely updated and amenities. The only downside were the mattresses, which a few felt like sleeping on the springs. A larger TV in the living room would be nice but not critical like new mattresses. We would definitely stay here again but really hope new mattresses.

Like its name, this house sits on a breezy point which is great as its location not only provides pretty good privacy but it also provides a beautiful view of the Sound. Breezy Point is also well maintained which also gave us a really nice vacation week. Coffee shops, gas stations and a Food Lion are all within a couple miles or less which made our stay more convenient.

It is on the Sound and has a large rigging area. There is a deck on three sided of the house so you can useally find a spot to sit out of the wind.

The house has a perfect location and is in reasonable shape for a rental. We have rented this home many times over 20 years and it is great for inviting family and friends.

Even though it appears that the house is more for the Kite Surfer and other water activities, just sitting on the deck and watching those who do is time consuming. As for the name of Breezy Point, the owners were spot on. The wind this week was from the SW at 15 to upper 20s and the house lived up to it’s name. The house is very well furnished, however the furniture in the family room was uncomfortable, but we spent more time on the decks. The overall size was perfect for a family of 4. To the owner’s, we Thank You for allowing us to spend our vacation in your home.
