Home was perfect for our needs and close to the beach. We enjoyed the hot tub and the open living area. We would definitely return.

Great location, kind of in the middle of everything. But if you've never been, definitely do your research before you go, especially if they happen to cut a line somewhere so neither your phones nor the wifi will work for your maps. Also make sure you check to see if they have closed things without telling anyone. We went for a wedding that was supposed to be at Old Lighthouse Beach Access, and the bride was never told anything about it not being accessible for the weekend. Plan ahead!

Close walking distance to beach. Beach was nice and quiet not to many people. Plenty of bathrooms. Can see beach from the house and beach noise was great. Quiet little area. Hot tub was nice with views of both sides of the bank. Close to multiple restaurants and grocery store.

This house is cozy and adorable. We loved the wood paneling and the decks, which provide views of both the ocean and sound. The kitchen is well appointed and the main living space has nice tile, which makes for easy clean up with humans and dogs coming in from the beach, which is a short walk away. We enjoyed our stay.

This house may be small but it is one of the best kept secrets of Hatteras Island. We stay at this property every year for its view, location and it`s fishing dock. We met the owner upon arrival who was very gracious and let us drop lines in the water while we waited to check in since we arrived so early the night before. We love this home. Master bed is incredibly comfortable. Water pressure amazing. View and deck is unmatched. New furniture is great too! Wifi did not work at all and hot tub jets did not work but we were too busy catching live bait for island fishing. This house is perfect for couples or small groups that appreciate sound front experiences. No other house on the island sits on the water the way this one does. We will be back but probably moving to the island permanently next year anyway. Thanks to Charlie the owner and Outer beaches for always providing such a great vacation! We love this house because if fits our larger family`s needs. Last year we were able to have a family reunion, allowing everyone to visit with my mother-in-law who is suffering from alzheimer`s, which was truly a blessing. We love the location! Amazing views of the Sound. Very private and quiet, feels secluded. It has been the perfect getaway from the hustle & bustle of everyday life. Lots of activities for the kids. Love the ability to rent kayacs & bikes, so we don`t have to bring our own. Sound Therapy has become an annual family tradition.
