This two-bedroom oceanside home is only five lots back and just a quick two-minute walk to the beach. The accommodations and decor will lend to the home away from home feel and a double bed and two single beds are available in the two bedrooms, with a queen sofa bed offering extra sleeping choices if needed. After a long, fun-filled day at the beach, relax outdoors on the spacious sundeck and whet your appetite by the delicious smells of dinner being grilled up on the charcoal grill. Once dinner is finished, kick back on the deck and enjoy a beautiful sunset, always the perfect end to a great day. Maiden Voyage is in a convenient central Avon location close to restaurants and shops, giving you plenty of fun vacation diversions. Maiden Voyage 404

The house was clean and ready. Check in was easy no issues. My wife and I stay there for a fishing trip. The only disappointment we had was access to the beach. Climbing steps and going over sand dunes with gear was very difficult. I recommend anyone going fishing in the Hatterias Island area to have 4 wheel drive trucks. It’s a must. But the house was great.

I really enjoyed staying at this house. Location very close to tackle shop, easy in and out with my beach suburban. Vacasa crew kept me well informed, also notified me for early check-in, even checked in with me asking if everything was OK. Even though I was a single guest at the house I never felt alone with the Vacasa crew's communication.

Perfect for an old fisherman like myself. Very close to tackle shop.

Has everything you need for one to maybe four people. Water pressure in the shower is great. The landscaping and location feels private and secluded, with a very short 2-minute walk to the beach and several great restaurants/cafes and shops within walking distance. I’d love to stay here again

This home doesn’t have all the bells & whistles but it greatly equipped for a week’s stay and is great for a couple or small family. The walk to the beach is close & easy. We agree with all the reviews that the beds are pretty uncomfortable, but it’s the exchange you make for an affordable cottage in a prime Avon location. We were impressed with all the extras Vacasa offered that we weren’t expecting such as sheets, soaps, detergents, etc that they left for the house.

We have stayed in this house 2 years in a row. We have loved it both times. The kitchen is so fully stocked, We didn't need for anything. Perfect location of all the things, and the beach is a very short walk away. My ONLY complaint again this year is the bed is ridiculously uncomfortable, and there is nowhere to unpack our groceries (pantry items) otherwise the house is perfect!

WE LOVED EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS PLACE for 2 to 4 people. One block from the beach on a quiet street. We could hear the surf every evening. It's nice doing your own laundry in the same place you stay rather than waste a whole day at the laundromat. Outdoor grill, fish cleaning station was nice. For a small, single family, this place is PERFECT.

The coziness of Maiden Voyage 404 was great for the two of us as we were coming back to Avon after moving from there 10 years ago. Our wedding anniversary made our trip very special. We will certainly book this place again if the drive from Kentucky doesn't keep us from returning any time soon.

The house was just what we needed for 4 people. It had everything already there for use. Only down fall is not being able to use the grill as stated in the listing.

We stayed at this house for a whole week sunday-Sunday. Its the first time we've ever used this company or stayed in this house. The Pros... - it was a great size, fully stocked with everything you could need. - It was nice having a dishwasher and a washer and dryer too. - The location of this house was great and close to everything in avon. My teenage kids were able to walk or ride wherever they wanted to, and we were too. and it was just a short walk to the beach. The Cons.... - Check- in. you cant check in until late. we were told 6 but I called a few times and finally got in around 4. I have NEVER had such a late check in when staying down here. - that there was nowhere to put away any of the food that we brought (pantry items). - The beds were very uncomforable, and noisy (and I'm not talking adult time I'm talking just rolling over in your sleep) - every single dish that we pulled out of the cabinet or drawer was dirty, so thankfully we brought paper plates and plastic forks, or had to wash anything extra before we used it. All in all it wasn't a bad place to stay. The price was great and I WOULD recommend this house and rental company.

Nice little beach house!

If you are one that needs everything shiny new/up to date then this little beach house is not for you. If you are like me & don't mind it being a bit worn, but very clean it is a great place. The price is right, the house feels very much like the beach. I truly enjoyed my time in this house and would stay in it again!

The house was clean and ready. Check in was easy no issues. My wife and I stay there for a fishing trip. The only disappointment we had was access to the beach.
