Nice but not enough bathroom

We have loved staying here for the past 3 years! Has everything we need. Some things could use updating but otherwise it's a nice affordable spot.

Very cozy and comfortable location. Right across the street from a public beach access point, pool access 5 min drive away, walking distance from ice cream shop, walking distance from food options and coffee shop, 5 min drive to cove with no waves for kids, and 15 min drive to walking trail. Perfect spot. Great amenities and comfortable home. I only wish there was one bed that was king size for taller people, but otherwise it was great! Highly recommended.

We took the ferry across to Ocracoke and ate at Howard’s Pub like the owners suggested and it was great! Ocracoke was our favorite part of our trip! The house was just the right size and a short walk to the beach! Beach wasn’t crowded and all and we loved that! My husband did some fishing on the beach and off the pier! The owner of the pier was so nice! 10/10 will be booking again!

Pretty basic accommodators but I myself don't go down to sit inside. Place was clean.

The proximity to the large, quiet beach access was fantastic. The home has a lot of potential and it is evident that the homeowners are working on upgrades to make this the perfect family getaway home. The new floors, bathroom amenities, and large kitchen appliances are very nice.

Close to public beach access. Nothing fancy but had everything! Felt like a perfect beach vacations!!!

Good- cost and location are good. Easy walk to beach, restaurants etc. New floors and new bathroom are nice. New appliances in the kitchen. Its dog friendly and fairly comfortable. The bad- welcome to the 1970s. This is an old house that has been through a lot of storms. Window frames are rotting, interior paneling walls have water damage here and there that’s just been painted over, there is no beach view. The cabinets and the furniture is old and a bit worn but clean. Bedrooms have light filtering blinds with valances so sunlight comes right in ( bring curtains or we used beach towels and blankets). Wifi rarely works Owners appear to be working on this house so it should keep improving Avons beaches are still the best!

Thank you so much for the feedback . We wanted to let you know the owner took this feedback seriously and the entire homes interior and exterior walls and windows have been replaced and new floors throughout. Additionally the wifi has been upgraded. We hope to you see you again !

This was the third year we've had this house. We pick it because of it's location to shopping and groceries as well as the public access to the beautiful beach.

The place is very worn but but you can get to the beach directly across the road, the queen bed is comfy and the ac/heat work well. Seemed to have all the amenities that you'd need. Wi-fi was spotty. Shower head needs replaced. I would go back there for the right price.

Very private, sunny house. It was quiet and easy access to the beach and eating spots. Would definitely stay here again.

The house is a great value, in a great location. We have spent three consecutive summer trips at Sea View! We loved every minute there. Unfortunately, we will be staying at another house with another company next year. We hope to one day return to Sea View, but for the time being we will be changing up our plans. Vacasa's fees are just insane compared to the old OBR days. I know things become more expensive for a home owner (utilities, repairs, upgrades, etc.), but the booking fees charged by Vacasa are through the roof compared to local companies. OBR always offered Layaway Vacations, but now it's only offered through a finance company. While Sea View is an AWESOME house, we will be supporting the local companies.
