Great place. Been staying at SeaView for ten plus years. New tv plan streaming etc hard for an old person to work but really nice . New bathroom great and linen service really great .

The proximity to fishing areas was great. Definitely come with extra towels/washcloths and be prepared to cook unless you are prepared to spend $20+ per person. There is no delivery, no Uber or door dash

Very cozy and comfortable location. Right across the street from a public beach access point, pool access 5 min drive away, walking distance from ice cream shop, walking distance from food options and coffee shop, 5 min drive to cove with no waves for kids, and 15 min drive to walking trail. Perfect spot. Great amenities and comfortable home. I only wish there was one bed that was king size for taller people, but otherwise it was great! Highly recommended.

The house was perfect for our needs. The walk to the beach is literally across the street! The only cons were we were: 1. The door wouldn’t unlock when we got there on a Sunday night. And the door was sticky trying to get in and out. It also took 30 minutes to get someone on the phone to help us while we were locked out. That was a stressful time. Vacasa was much more responsive the rest of the week and the customer service people were great!2. only given 2 garbage bags for the week. They should really supply at least 3 bags.

We took the ferry across to Ocracoke and ate at Howard’s Pub like the owners suggested and it was great! Ocracoke was our favorite part of our trip! The house was just the right size and a short walk to the beach! Beach wasn’t crowded and all and we loved that! My husband did some fishing on the beach and off the pier! The owner of the pier was so nice! 10/10 will be booking again!

Pretty basic accommodators but I myself don't go down to sit inside. Place was clean.

This property was perfect for us. Third row put us so close to the beach. It takes maybe two minutes to be on the beach and it was wide open space and not crowded like many. We had coastal fishing licenses and a vehicle permit and were able to drive on the beach to the perfect spot to spend the day. Love being able to have the dogs with us. Will mention that dog shoes are a great idea not only for hot sand and hot pavement but also for sand spur protection. The new flooring and updated bathroom along with updated kitchen appliances was fantastic. We will definitely book again. We had a problem with the door lock but one phone call and all was taken care of.

The proximity to the large, quiet beach access was fantastic. The home has a lot of potential and it is evident that the homeowners are working on upgrades to make this the perfect family getaway home. The new floors, bathroom amenities, and large kitchen appliances are very nice.

Good- cost and location are good. Easy walk to beach, restaurants etc. New floors and new bathroom are nice. New appliances in the kitchen. Its dog friendly and fairly comfortable. The bad- welcome to the 1970s. This is an old house that has been through a lot of storms. Window frames are rotting, interior paneling walls have water damage here and there that’s just been painted over, there is no beach view. The cabinets and the furniture is old and a bit worn but clean. Bedrooms have light filtering blinds with valances so sunlight comes right in ( bring curtains or we used beach towels and blankets). Wifi rarely works Owners appear to be working on this house so it should keep improving Avons beaches are still the best!

This was the third year we've had this house. We pick it because of it's location to shopping and groceries as well as the public access to the beautiful beach.

The place is very worn but but you can get to the beach directly across the road, the queen bed is comfy and the ac/heat work well. Seemed to have all the amenities that you'd need. Wi-fi was spotty. Shower head needs replaced. I would go back there for the right price.

The house is a great value, in a great location. We have spent three consecutive summer trips at Sea View! We loved every minute there. Unfortunately, we will be staying at another house with another company next year. We hope to one day return to Sea View, but for the time being we will be changing up our plans. Vacasa's fees are just insane compared to the old OBR days. I know things become more expensive for a home owner (utilities, repairs, upgrades, etc.), but the booking fees charged by Vacasa are through the roof compared to local companies. OBR always offered Layaway Vacations, but now it's only offered through a finance company. While Sea View is an AWESOME house, we will be supporting the local companies.

Public beach access walkway is across the street, down one house. Dune access is approximately 70 yards from house steps. But sand path through dunes is approximately 70 yards to wide spacious beach. House was clean with beds made. Typical outer banks cottage with one bathroom and one TV. New washer and dryer. Concrete pad under house had not been swept/blown by landscaper or housekeeping.

The property was great. Long walk to the beach. Also, the code for the door lock didn't work when I got there and my family had to wait in our car for 2 hours, after a 7 hour car drive to get there. Careful booking before a holiday or you may be waiting to get in.

This is the perfect location to take advantage of the quiet beach across the street, the Sound in your back yard, and a pool for relaxing. We really enjoyed having decks to take in the views on both sides and stargazing. The home was well furnished and we felt it was a home full of love.
