We have stayed in Beach Adventures many times. Every year improvements have been made, from a total redo of bathrooms to new kitchen appliances. This owner takes good care of the property. We like the easy walk to the beach and the location about halfway between the Nags Head/ Kill Devil Hills villages to Hatteras Village.

Perfect location. Close to a few restaurants and Food Lion. Short dune walk to the beach! Gorgeous view feom deck. Very clean and well stocked! Only issue is property management company never advised when property was ready. After check-in, however they did communicate to see if we had.any questions or issues. I would definitely stay here again!!

Perfect location for a family vacation. Walking distance to the beach. Tons of amenities and my son loved the outdoor shower. House was super clean.

A group of four of us went and it was perfect for what we needed. It was cozy and had direct access to the beach/view. We didn't have any issues checking in or out. There isn't a ton of things to do nearby but we planned on just going to the beach most days so it was great for us. We would stay here again.

The home was very accommodating for success, the bedroom layout was perfect for the group that we had. The kitchen was very accommodating. It’s in a great location to access restaurants and shops in the community of Avon. It was also accessible to Hatters village. We booked a private fishing trip with Last Cast, captain Patrick auto Hatters Village and we really had a great time and caught a bluefish and a red drum. It was a lot of fun. He is very knowledgeable and the location of the house was very accessible to Hatter Village.

Another wonderful experience at Beach Adventures! This has become our favorite home on the island and we look forward to visiting again next year! It is well taken care of and always very clean. Stocked extremely well with anything you may need, from beach toys to kitchen needs. Highly recommend!!

I love both the house and location! The house is nice and bright with lots of natural light. The kitchen is pretty well stocked with pots should you decide to eat some meals there. Lots of glasses, plates & bowls as well as eating utensils & kitchen tools. There was a new(since last year) keurig coffee maker that had both the pot & single cup mode, and the pot was a nice large 12 cup pot, so plenty of coffee for everyone! Gorgeous views from the back deck - if you are up early enough you can see the beautiful sunrise! I really enjoyed how close the house was to the beach and took advantage of that by walking on the beach every day! We had perfect weather the whole week! Lots of books, DVDs, and games to keep you occupied in case of inclement weather. There is a TV, not only in the living room, but one in each of the 2 queen-size bedrooms. In case you can’t tell, I was very happy with the week we spent here!

The house location is unbeatable, walking distance to shops and the beach is right behind the deck. The house is well equip with tons of board games, movies etc. and the kitchen has everything you can imagine. I can wait to be back with the family for a longer stay.

Loved the beach access, the beach out front was quiet and not crowded. Loved that they had detergent, sponges, and soaps for us to use. Very cute and clean house. I’d come back again

We loved the improvements like the new bathroom and the new kitchen sink. This is a very well equipped home with all the gadgets needed to prepare wonderful meals. We love the deck with high table and chairs to watch the ocean waves.

We love this house. It is very comfortable for the two of us but will also work if we are joined by family or friends. The kitchen has everything. The new bathroom was terrific. The weather was great the entire time. We have already reserved a spot for next year.

This house is a perfect beach cottage. You don't have to schedule your vacation with four other families to have all the ocean front adminities. The views are perfect. I recommend watching the sunset on the front deck and watch the ocean with your coffee on the new deck.

The home was perfect for us. The kitchen was well equipped, and bedrooms very comfortable. Having the grandchildren with us we appreciated all the games for inside, and the variety of beach equipment. The only setback was the constant swarm of mosquitoes in the outdoor shower and they would invade the upstairs deck in the afternoon into the evening. This was a problem especially when we wanted to enjoy this lovely deck and stargaze or picnic outside. But this was probably because we were there in July. Last June we didn't have this problem. Besides this, it was a lovely week at the beach and the home was an excellent choice!

This was a great house! It was very close to the beach and a perfect size for a family of 6. It could definitely use some updates with the cooking utensils, specifically the pans. It was very clean when we arrived but smelly. We had to keep the windows open for several days and use a lot of Fabreze to keep the smell down. We would definitely rent again!

The laundry/storage room is a big plus as well. The walk to the beach over the small dune is very doable even with smaller children. Property is oceanfront just a shortwalk through the dunes to the beach. We didnt need everything it had to offer as it was mainly a crash pad for a guy's fishing trip and we were gone all day for our few day trip. Not far from grocery store, bait shop, and several restaurants.

It has everything needed for a great vacation! It was like going into a home of someone you knew❤️. It could use some more comfortable furniture in the living room, and the blinds needed replaced throughout the house for privacy at night. Small things compared to the shear loveliness of the house and the ocean front location. If we could take dogs, we would definitely book again!!!

Our family has rented this home several times. Very comfortable. Ocean-front on quiet street with two under-cover parking slots. Plus, only a 5 minute walk to Dairy Queen!

Our second time staying at this house. Conveniently located, nice setup. While ocean front, limited view of ocean because of high sand dunes. Efficient kitchen setup, open floor plan. Seat cushions/furniture cushions not very comfortable.

Location, Location, Location. On the walkway. Good Avon location on a quiet cul-de-sac. House could use a little love, but after so many stays, there were no surprises. And the rental price reflects the condition. Works for us. Vacasa, on the other hand, is a work in progress and needs some professional management consulting.

We loved sitting on the deck at night listening to the waves and star gazing. The house was super clean and had some products already there for us to use (we brought our own TP, tissues, and laundry things… they provided some for us). Would def recommend this house to a small family!

This house is cozy but well maintained. It could use some small end tables by seating but othetwise well appointed. It has a well stocked kitchen with lots of room. It is immediately adjacent to the piblic beach accesd so it could be noisy during the busy season!

We have visited the OBX since I was a little girl. My mom has Multiple Sclerosis and is now bond to a wheelchair. We search for a house that will accommodate not only the size of our group but also mom. We chose 2 for 1 because of the amazing views, elevator and handicap friendly labels. An elevator and handicap friendly are “have to haves” and the view is an added bonus. It would make it so much easier for her to enjoy her stay having all three of these amenities. The only minor issue we had was getting her into the house. The back door is the only way she was able to enter and there was a three inch lip that she and her motorized wheelchair had to be raised over each time. Once raised, the platform was small and did not allow for the turn very easily. Everything else was fantastic! The shower chair being provided was a major plus! Thank you! We have booked 2 for 1 next year, but plan to make a small ramp and platform extension we can use to help get her into the house easier. If there are adjustments made to the back entrance, we would love to know!! This place was perfect for a week at the beach. We loved being able to walk to the beach, spend our afternoons at the pool, and stop for a drink at Pangea in the evening. The location was wonderful. The house was very clean on first arrival and even had simple cleaning supplies to maintain the house during our stay which we really appreciated. The house had great access to the beach but cost less than a beach front house and you could even see the water from the crows nest! The layout of the house was perfect and the furnishing made it feel like a real home. We loved every second we spent in this house! And we even got to bring out pups along for the trip!!
