NEW for the 2026 SEASON: FULLY remodeled bathrooms and new terrazzo-style LVP flooring throughout the house. On Point is positioned on the tip of a peninsula. Boasting spectacular and unobstructed views of the vast Pamlico Sound, this three-bedroom, two-and-a-half bathroom home has ample private water access and a private hot tub. On Point is perfect for relaxing on the water's edge, watching the sunset, fishing in the sound, or launching exciting water sports action. The unspoiled ocean beach is within easy walking distance. A three-tier deck reaches beyond the roof, offering a 360 view. The hot tub has its own separate deck with full view of the sound, the channel and the stars above. The main floor has a full-size kitchen with a breakfast bar that opens up to the dining room and living room area with large covered porch. There is plenty of space to dine and prepare meals, all while being able to watch the sunset through the large windows and sliding doors! The two spacious upper level bedrooms feature unobstructed views of the sound, where egrets stalk through the wetlands in the morning and sails dot the water in the afternoon. A third downstairs bedroom also has sound view. All three bedrooms feature blackout shades and are perfect for bringing along family and friends. A large private bathing dock in waist deep water literally forms the tip of the peninsula. It is perfect for family play, launching paddle, kite, windsurf or wing sessions, fishing as night falls over the plentiful sound, or simply relaxing to the rhythm of the lapping waves. A separate dock in the canal is more sheltered and perfect for mooring a boat or PWC. The two are connected by an accessible seawall, providing full access to the property's long waterfront. The grass in the spacious yard is ideal for games or for rigging windsurf or kite gear. The space under the house is decked. It features a hot outdoor shower and provides ample and well thought out storage for boards and sails. At the end of a long day on the beach or the sound, relax and unwind in the living room, on the porch, or on any one of the decks because no matter what you choose, the views of the sound and the sunset from this home are always On Point!

The house was wonderful with great views! The only negative was expecting a pool as listed in the amenities, only to find it was not near the neighborhood we were staying in. It is possible that I missed that description but that information should be disclosed in the property description.

The house and location were amazing. It would be nice to have a few more toys like , paddle board, single person kayak. Also a few more bath towels and a few dish’s towels would be great.

We really enjoyed our stay! The views from this location are incredible. Sunset is especially nice from the top deck.

We returned again this year because…..its location is perfect. We could kayak, hot tub, fish all from our rental. Its perfect to enjoy the views and relax!

The home accomodated my family of 4 very well. There is a ton of outdoor space and the views from all decks are amazing. Hot tub was great. If you are into fishing, the docks were a nice feature. We will likely look to book again next year.

We first came to the Outer Banks 50 years ago and have returned at least 30 times. This was the nicest place we have ever rented. The location cannot be any better. I will carry the memories of sitting on the porch a looking out over the sound with me for many years to come. We are already planning our return in 2026.

Great Vacation

We loved the location, close to everything from restaurants, gift shops, bait and tackle and groceries. Great spot for fishing also.

Beautiful views!

Beautiful views from multiple level decks and 2 docks. Also enjoyed sunset views from the hot tub and just about every window. Tons of decking and storage under the house. We enjoyed fishing, boating, paddle boarding and swimming in the sound. The kids enjoyed the 2 pools that were just a quick bike ride away. Easy neighborhood access and sidewalks on the main road made it easy to bike to multiple stores, ice cream, coffee, beach access etc. The inside of the house fit our family of 6 perfectly. Kitchen had everything we needed except for some sheet pans/cookie sheets. We brought our own gas grill. There is no grill or fish cleaning table at this property. King, 2 twins and a pyramid bunk make up the 3 bedrooms. Family room has the one tv in the home, cargo furniture is not that comfy, but we spent very little time inside. The owners have obviously put a lot work into updating the decks and docks. Vacasa was responsive when we needed a set of missing sheets for the pyramid top bunk and blanket for king. Check-in and check-out were quick and painless. House was very clean and ready upon arrival!

Great location and amazing views. The upper bedrooms, living room, and decks have great views all around. The house was good but seemed to have septic issues. We contacted Vacasa and didn't really get much of a reply other than "they'll look into it" Outer Beaches was a great company to deal with but Vacasa seems to have ruined the experience. You can't call the local Outer Beaches office in Avon, and instead you talk to someone in another state (or country) to deal with questions about a local property.

We had the best time-we extended for another day. We are ready to book next year-same time, same unit but this time for 2 weeks! One week is just not enough! My husband has already been talking to colleagues about it and recommending our lodgings. This review was submitted while the home was managed by a different property management company.
