NEW for 2025 SEASON, New carpeting installed on the entire top floor, stairs, and hallways, and new sofas in the living room Beautifully positioned on the sound-front, this home overlooks the private Hatteras wetlands that border the soundside coastline. Here in the Kinnakeet Shores neighborhood, you'll find the perfect spot for nature viewing as you relax at the top of the Carolina Breeze. Begin on the top level, which offers a kitchen with a brand-new refrigerator, a dishwasher, a Keurig, and an air fryer. This level is partitioned by a breakfast bar and completed with an updated dining set that includes two large bench seats. As an added secret bonus, this dining room table can be converted into both a pool table and a Ping-Pong table by removing the top. Dinner, dessert, family game night - it all happens here! Down the half-flight central staircase is the main living room with a large TV and a minibar. The massive windows, from floor to ceiling, capture a picture-perfect view overlooking the sound and incredible sunsets. One floor below, on the main level, you'll find a brand-new washer/dryer, a queen bedroom, and a dual-pyramid bedroom. Down on the lower level is a uniquely laid-out primary suite that includes a king bed, an additional double bed, a jetted tub, and a subdivided bathroom space. The entire home has gone through recent renovations, including a newly painted interior, a new HVAC and plumbing system, and new Adirondack deck chairs. Outside, the ground level features a brand-new gas grill and an outdoor shower. At the end of the street is an untamed nature walkway that leads you directly to the sound. Take an evening stroll to view the sunset or, in the opposite direction, a morning walk to the beach along the community walkway. This home also includes access to the Kinnakeet Shores Pool and Tennis. Come take in the views, the trees, and the seas while vacationing in the Carolina Breeze.

Stay and home was good. Cookware was old and damaged, need to upgrade. Kitchen floor was sticky when we arrived. Very nice place to stay.

This is my family's second time at this beautiful home. Close to the beach, a community pool and great restaurants.

This home is well located near public beach access, in a great walk-able neighborhood. We loved the sunsets from the elevated deck and being able to sit outside and see the sound and nature, not the back of another home. Our family enjoyed our stay and were happy to be able to bring our pups as well! Please note, part of the yard has small native cactus, which limited the outdoor access for the dogs, but the grassy side yard is sufficient. It was difficult to tell from the description, but as of the date of this review, the house does have all utensils and any other kitchenware needed for your stay. Although we loved having access to the pool table/ping-pong table, as others commented the paddles need to be replaced, as does the ping-pong net, and the pool sticks could use some chalk too. Parts of the home are somewhat dated but all appliances are newer, clean, and in great working order.

Loved the view and location of the home. Very pleased with the response from VACASA when we couldn't get the air to work, all it was, was the breaker had kicked off and they were very helpful. We definitely would rent from VACASA again and love to rent this home again.

House was clean and comfortable. The grill was broken (rusted). Would definitely stay here again. Very private, lots of wild life. This house is located in Kinakeet Shores. Nice community with paved roads. Great area to walk the dog and take in the scenery Located near the food lion and great restaurants

The sound views are gorgeous! There's not an obvious way to get down to the water, but otherwise you have a beautiful view. Lots of space, kitchen has the bare bones (no scissors), and primary bathroom/bedroom is quite an experience (photos are accurate). If you bring pets, be mindful that deer will wander into the yard. All around, a great spot!

We had a great time at this residence. The view was amazing and the house is secluded enough from the neighborhood to make it seem like we were very isolated. Plenty of space for a family to use and enjoy. Very comfortable and inviting furnishings.

We love the big windows and balconies to view the beautiful Sound. We also loved the table that turned into a ping pong and pool table! Our teens loved it! And last we loved that it was dog friendly!

Our family of four and 2 dogs recently stayed at this property during Thanksgiving. We enjoyed our time here and especially loved the big windows in the back of the house with views of the sound and wildlife. It was remote and relaxing which was exactly what we needed.

This location was perfect, out of the busy streets, safe areas for walking/running. Plenty of space for everyone to stretch out. My daughter was very excited about all of the board games and a family game night. Lots of monopoly despite some missing pieces! Only wish the weather had been better to see more sunsets as this house faces perfectly to the west!

The house is in the best location in the outer banks for peace and quiet. No one behind you. It feels like an oasis. The propriety manager is wonderful, and the house was very clean. The inside of the house is amazing, highly recommended. We’ll be back Only piece of feedback is the kitchen didn’t seem to have tongs, unless I missed something
