The house was awesome! We loved the spacious rooms and accommodations. It was perfect for four adult couples, with comfortable, good-sized bedrooms and plenty of bathrooms for everyone.
The pool could have used a little more cleaning, but it didn't take away from our overall experience. We especially loved having two refrigerators, and the ice maker was a huge hit with our group!
Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend this property.

Loved spending the time with my family! Location was excellent. Screen porch was lovely. Main living area was very comfortable and spacious. The kitchen was well equipped, but not much extra room for food, etc. Wished that the pool was serviced through the week. It was very windy while we were there and a lot of sand accumulated in the pool. Outdoor furniture was not very comfortable.

Our Family's 2nd Outerbanks Vacation trip and say at Sea Breeze. Our family's favorite home to stay. A portion of the home was recently remodeled. Kitchen is beautiful. Rooms are comfortable. The 3.5 levels of the home are perfect for our 4 grandkids who love to run around. The pool and hot tub were fantastic but the area around them could have been hosed down more. All in all nothing to complain about, Vacasa was great to work with, the house was great, weather was perfect, restaurants and shops are fantastic in Avon we truly had one of our best family vacations ever! We will be definitely be back. Thank you!

I can't say enough good things about this beach house — it truly exceeded all expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the stunning ocean views, the clean and beautifully decorated space, and all the thoughtful touches that made it feel like a true home away from home. The house was spotless and well-maintained, with plenty of room for everyone to relax and unwind. The house and especially the kitchen was fully updated, the beds were incredibly comfortable, and the outdoor spaces were just dreamy — especially the decks, where we enjoyed coffee in the mornings and sunsets in the evenings. The location couldn’t have been better — just steps from the beach and close to great restaurants and local attractions. Whether we were lounging in the sun, taking long walks by the water, or simply enjoying the peaceful atmosphere, every moment was unforgettable. The management company is responsive, friendly, and clearly dedicated to making sure we had the best stay possible. I would come back in a heartbeat and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing beach escape. Thank you for such a wonderful experience!

The house was outfitted with most of the amenities we needed for the week, and the access to the beach was extremely convenient. We enjoyed the pool and the comfortable living areas.

Wonderful property for a family - our kids really enjoyed the pool and the proximity to beaches/restaurants/stores/etc. Extremely comfortable and clean. We hope to book again in summers to come!

You are in walking distance to a few different restaurants and a short walk to the beach or fishing pier. Very short drive to even more restaurants and to a Food Lion. It’s was a very quiet and relaxing. Loved the screened in porch for early morning breakfast. You have a couple different views of the ocean. My son loved sitting in the loft area at night and my husband enjoyed the downstairs living room for watching sports. Kitchen was well stocked with different items for our needs for the week and plenty of counter space for the family meals. You have a small kitchen downstairs with refrigerator so that made it very convenient if you were at the pool, and you could keep drinks downstairs so you could pack coolers for the beach. There was hose near the hot tub so you could wash everything off after a day at the beach.

We enjoyed our stay at Sea Breeze. Pros - Clean. Pool table. Hot tub (they change the water between every guest stay). Cons - we didn't get lucky with weather so we wanted to get the fireplace going to add to atmosphere since we had to stay indoors. I don't think it was working and I contacted Vacasa who said they'd look into it but never heard back. We did have an appliance repairman come to fix the refrigerator and ice maker which we had no problems with so maybe there was a mix up. Not a big deal and we would definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful time and are already discussing potentially renting it again someday. I also wanted to recognize the woman who came out to clean and service our hot tub. It was great getting to talk to such a friendly local person about life in Avon, and we really appreciated being able to use the hot tub. I did want you all to know that there is a board on the top deck that is compromised and needs to be replaced ASAP because it will eventually snap when someone walks on it and become a potentially pretty dangerous situation. Our family had a great time! The home and layout was a great fit for our family getaway; plenty of room for everyone. We would definitely stay again at "Make My Day". We had a great week in Make My Day. It is a great house and the location is perfect. Our dogs loved that they could come with us on vacation. Great location. The pool was great for the kids. The kitchen had everything you needed to cook meals. The house was spacious and comfortable for everyone. House layout is very well laid out for multiple people, and especially so for two families. we really liked having multiple living spaces and could see how it would work well for a couple families with children. This home was very nice and we would stay again! The rooms were all nice sized and had plenty of bathrooms. Short walk to the beach and is located in a very nice area. Loved the little living room on the second floor! The kids loved the pool and was Convenient on days the ocean was too rough or if we got back early from the beach! Special K`s was a beautiful property - very well maintained! The kitchen is well stocked, and all of the electronics were easy to work. We initially didn`t think we`d like the pool being situated further from the house than we`ve had in the past, but in the end, we all agree the pool area was the BEST of any house we`ve rented. The sun stayed on it until almost 6pm and the shaded area with the picnic table was great! There was plenty of room for our group to spread out, and we never felt cramped. We did find the A/C flow to the 1st level MBR to be less than desirable, but were able to work around it by positioning a box fan in the hallway and keeping the door open. Would have been nice if a recycling bin would have been provided. The home was extremely clean upon arrival. All in all, a very nice property, well kept with plenty of room for all! We love Durant and Outer Beaches! This is our home away from home! We thought we locked ourselves out and called, Jenny was so kind. Thankfully, we found our key so she didn`t have to make the drive from Avon. We can`t wait to see you next year! We like the location of the home...watching the birds in the marsh pond is a delight. It is convenient to all activities in the village, especially by bike. The ramp to the door is wonderful. No schlepping suitcases, groceries, etc up the stairs! The Bacon`s have taken time to make sure the home is comfortable and pleasing to renters.
