Very clean, lots of kitchenware. Loved the newspaper clipping which shared some history of the property and owner. Someone said in a previous post it was dated. To me it felt like stepping back in time, lots of nostalgia of a bygone era. We enjoyed our stay!

This home was everything we could have asked for our family of five! Plenty of space, large outdoor entertaining area, super short walk to the beach, quiet street, I could go on and on! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Old and tired but comfortable
The mattresses on the beds were comfortable and we felt rested after a good night's sleep. The house is very close to busy route 12 but inside was quiet. Everything was furnished that you could possibly want or need. Comfortable stay, nice view from upper deck.

We love Catherine By The Sea
We love staying at Catherine By The Sea. This was our second year staying there. The house is in a great location on a nice, quiet street. The house provides all the necessary amenities. We love that there was only 1 TV. This encouraged us to spend more family time together in the evenings watching Shark Week! We highly recommend this beach house - but we hesitate to say that because we want it available for us again next year!😉

So while the house was in need of a makeover, it was awesome. Being a 3 minute walk from the beach was definitely memorable. The house was furnished with everything one would need like pillows blankets, dishes, cookware, towels, (although bring your own beach towels.) It was an excellent experience for my family. I would definitely rent here again.
