Great house and location. We had a great time and plan on booking this house again

Pros: proximity to the beach and walkable food/treats is excellent, grocery store is ~2 miles away, nice view of the Avon Pier fireworks display on July 4th, top notch maintenance/customer service, chic remodeled bathrooms, ample parking, great view of sunset from the crows nest, well maintained deck, ample baby gates available to use indoors and outdoors. Cons: the beds were awful. To quote my husband, "Sleep Number is just a fun way to say air mattress," which I think does disservice to air mattresses everywhere.

We loved the open floor concert, the concrete car port, the top deck views, the spacious kitchen and the comfy beds. Updated bathrooms were also gorgeous! Very convenient to have the washer and dryer in the kitchen. Outdoor shower spacious and large shower head a plus! Easy walk to beach - we’ll be back!

We loved everything about this beach house! The inside was spacious, bright and cheerful. The outside porches and decks were so nice for outdoor gatherings. And being pet friendly made it perfect for us. We highly recommend this house. We will definitely rent this house again the next time we vacation in Avon, North Carolina. Thank you for making our stay memorable for everyone!

Sleeping arrangements were good for 4 to 6 people master bath was a little small and parking was a bit of a challenge with large vehicles

Location is great! Just a few minutes from the beach. Kitchen is very well equipped and the coffee maker makes a huge difference! Baby gates are provided, even on the deck! Screened porch is a great place to hang out at. Unfortunately, we had to get relocated due to issues with septic tank. NOTE to visitors - clean property yard after your pets. It is part of your rental agreement. Keep in mind that mosquitos are present/active in October. I gave it 4 stars b/c of septic issues. Once it is resolved, everybody will love it. Plenty books & games.

Great location to the beach. House is dated but clean. The appliances need to be updated. The dish washer and the washing machine both leaked. Other than the appliance issue our stay was great. Very relaxing

Had a great week staying at Island Time. The house is convenient to several great restaurants. It's easy to get back and forth to the beach and the views from the deck are amazing!!

The location to the beach is perfect. For a fee, they allowed our dog. This is our third visit to this house. Although it isn’t fancy, it is clean and comfortable! We will be back.

The location is fantastic a short walk to the beach house is very clean loved all the amenities the outside shower fish cleaning station all the lights absolutely beautiful and perfect

House has everything that you need. Nice bedroom setup. One bathroom has tub for kids, second shower for quick wash. Washer and dryer are very convenient. Outdoor shower is a hit. Super helpful to rinse off sand. Only one downside was cleanliness of the house. Cleaning crew probably is on a hurry and doesn't pay attention to the details like dusting or wiping the cabinets, microwave, stove or bathrooms. The bed sheets and towels were clean. Overall we enjoyed the stay and have good memories from the trip.

House was very clean. Very spacious. There was a counter between kitchen and dining room with enough outlets to charge all of our devices. Beautiful view of ocean snd beach from the top balcony. Short walk to the beach. Would definitely rent this houses again. Bathrooms a little outdated, but I believe the owners are updating the house this coming winter.

The home was very nice and cleaned. Needed dish towels and refrigerator was broken and we lost a bunch of food. Was told a new refrig would be delivered and it never came. There was a spare refrig that leaked all over the floor

Thank you for the feedback. We are glad the home was otherwise clean and comfortable, and are very sorry about the refrigerator issue , we certainly do not want this happening to any guest. The unit has since been replaced . We appreciate you bringing this to our attention and hope you’ll consider staying with us again.

Clean and well furnished home. The kitchen was also well equipped. The swing was a hit with the 8 and 10 year olds. So was the porch with the adults.

Love the bright, airy feeling in this home. It’s right sized for a party of six or less. The outdoor shower makes up for the poor master suite shower which feels like a cramped, dark closet. The bedrooms and bathrooms definitely need updating. We’ve had several stays in this home and the appliances have been an issue. Overall though, we wouldn’t hesitate to spend our next OBX vacation in Island Time.

Such a great home for vacation! Walk to beach and close to everything. Midway on Outer Banks, so an easy drive to Ocracoke and Roanoke. Lots to see and do. Home very comfortable and easy to stay in for couples and families alike. Would definitely stay again!!!
