This family-friendly elevated home features a basketball hoop in the driveway and a large yard for the kids to play while the adults supervise from the huge wraparound deck. Step into the screened porch for a quiet morning coffee or an evening cocktail to end the day.

Inside, you'll find a homey, welcoming space. High ceilings, vibrant coastal colored walls , and beachy decor add to the vacation vibe. The chef will love the full kitchen, which features all the appliances and plenty of space, and everyone can dine together in the breakfast nook or pull up a barstool to keep it casual. When it's time to explore, you have access to shared pools (Memorial Day through Labor Day), and excellent fishing, shopping, and restaurants are nearby. At the end of the day, relax in the private hot tub or enjoy the central AC while you stream your favorite family movies or use the in-home WiFi to upload the day's pics to social media. Before bed, step back out to the deck and toast your good luck at making your vacation dreams come true.

Wonderful home... Very well stocked ... Comfortable beds... Couldn't have asked for a better get-a-way (except for the rain) but still found plenty to do. The wrap around deck was a lifesaver for anyone with kids!!! Would definitely recommend and I will stay again!!

We had 5 adults, 3 kids and 1 dog and this was the perfect place for us. The location was great and walking distance to stores/Beach. Hot tub was nice. Its not fancy but it does have everything you need for a good stay. Wifi was iffy from time to time and once we figured out the TV all was good. I would stay again!

Good location. Close to the beach. Also had access to a pool on days with riptides. Beautiful artwork in the home. Comfortable living space. Loved sitting out on the deck. Had all the amenities needed for a pleasant stay.

The house was clean and check in/check out process was easy. Staff had quick responses to my questions before arriving. Everything about this house was fun. The house is very spacious and plenty of room to relax. The house is within close proximity to the beach, which was amazing. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed our stay here and definitely would stay here in the future.

This was a nice beach house for our extended family. It was a short five minute walk from the beach, the house was mostly clean and had a great wrap around deck. Any issues we had were quickly remedied by the Vacasa staff.

We had our whole family (8 plus our German Sheppard) stay at this home and it was great! There is plenty of room for everyone and the outside deck and hot tub is great. We like that the beach is close and there is a pool nearby. Avon is a quaint beach town that has enough to offer for summer fun without the large crowds you typically see during summer beach season. Our family had lots of great memories and hope to come back next year!

As an Artist, I enjoyed the design of the beach motif; albeit, It might have been overstated for some. More instructions for seniors would be helpful.

My family and I spent a week at Our Dream Came True, and what a week it was. It was truly a special one as it was the first time our family had all been staying under one roof together. Overall the place was great, better than some of the local motels we have stayed at where we have had pest problems, the worst pest here were mini ants in the kitchen (common in the south). Only a few things were unsatisfactory - the grill was dirty with what smelt like sewage, the Bed sheets did not fit properly and were stained (seems like a simple enough fix..) the shower curtains were getting a little moldy. Other things that could be a simple fix is the overwhelming/outdated living room tv, wires everywhere, blown out speakers in the tv, and not even a smart tv. However, like I said, overall it was a great stay, hoping to make it back there next year!

Beach vacation

The house has a nice layout where you can be spread out and not feel cramped. The amount of comfortable beds here is awesome. We really enjoyed the large porches. The large hot tub on the front porch was nice after a long day of exploring. The kitchen was well apportioned, the only thing I couldn't find was a peeler. Only one tv was turned on all week so I am not able to comment on that. We felt very safe in the neighborhood that the house is located. We took several walks around the area. The sunrise is a 3 minute walk to the beach. The beach across the street was very nice and our family appreciated the beach chairs left at the house. There are several restaunts and shops within walking distance. There is a really nice supermarket, Food Lion in the same plaza as Duck Donuts and they are amazing! We really enjoyed this house and if we were coming back to Avon would stay in again!

This house was a great fit for our family. We traveled with our 2 teenaged children and they loved having their own queen bedroom. 3 of the 4 bedrooms have balcony access which was nice. The abundance of porch space was wonderful. The kitchen was well apportioned with the exception of a peeler that I couldn't find. We appreciated the in house laundry which we took advantage of. It is nice not to have mounds of clothes to wash when we get home. The sunrise is just a short walk to the beach. There is a crosswalk at the street so it is easier to cross. Our beds were comfortable. I would definitely stay here again if we were coming to Avon. Several restaurants and the Food Lion are walking distance. Duck Donuts is in the Food Lion plaza. There was a pool available to us but we would have had to drive to it.

This home was perfect for our family of 4 in addition to our two sets of parents (total of 8 people)! Cute, beach themed decor throughout the home with lots of amenities provided. The deck is perfect for kids to play on while the grownups have room to spread out and relax. Short little walk to the beach and less than 2 minute drive to grocery store! Perfect stay for those wanting to be close to Hatteras Lighthouse, and less than an hour drive to Nags head to visit other site seeing spots!

Clean and comfortable

The property was as listed, and very clean upon arrival. The hot tub was a great way to end the day. The beach is a short walk, but the current was very rough so we ended up driving about 20 minutes to Frisco beach. Everything worked great and the house was well stocked, I highly recommend this AVon stay!

Spring Break Getaway

The house was great. Close to the beach and very inviting. Plenty of space and LOVED the wrap around porch. Our dog enjoyed the outdoors and the long walks on the beach. The kids enjoyed the hot tub each nite even though the weather was not cooperative...COLD. But our overall experience was great.

Home is beautiful and comfy. Close walk to the beach, grocery store, and restaurants. Some minor issues with cleanliness, but leasing manager was incredibly responsive and accommodating to ensure we were happy with our stay.
