Description

Aloha from the beautiful Blue Seas! This soundside Askins Creek subdivision home is located near an easy ocean access boardwalk and the South Avon 4WD ramp; it's also one of the closest properties to the windsport magnet of the Canadian Hole. The ground level has an outdoor shower, a fish-cleaning table, and a charcoal grill. The all-weather entry opens to the laundry center. On the second level, the first bedroom has a queen bed, deck access, and smart TV. The second features a queen bed with shaded views across the lower deck. The third bedroom offers a pyramid-style bunk bed, while an adjacent full bathroom in the open hallway includes an oversized whirlpool tub/shower. There is a door access to the wrap-around shaded deck. The large great room on the third floor has a cathedral ceiling, ceiling fans, a skylight, and a full bathroom with a shower. You'll find comfortable resort furnishings here as well as a large wall-mounted smart TV and a DVD player with a library of movies for all ages. The large, fully equipped kitchen includes a brew and pod coffee maker, a bean grinder for your morning coffee, and a crock pot for easy meal preparation. Expansive views of the national parkland and ocean dunes are enjoyed from the breakfast bar as well as the large dining area. The den, furnished with a double futon, is a great place to shut the door and curl up with a book, game, or puzzle. The deck is well-furnished and features a screened porch with a picnic table. Blue Seas also has an inviting hot tub and a rooftop deck with extraordinary views of Hatteras Island and Pamlico Sound. Blue Seas has the bones to provide a perfect Hatteras vacation. Do you?

The house was clean and had good amenities the kitchen had everything needed to make a meal just bring utensils for the grill and beach towels. It has an outside shower so no beach sand gets inside and loved the hot tub after a long day!! I would definitely stay there again!! Thank you!

We loved the house for our fishing trip. Very clean, great location, and close proximity to the beach. The hot tub was nice to relax in at night and plenty of deck space. The rooftop deck was a nice added bonus. Highly recommend!

The home has plenty of room, but could use some TLC. Also, it shakes when walking so that was a little concerning. Kitchen was well stocked which was nice.

Summer fun with kids

The house is close to the beach and the price for the week is very resonable. Check in/check out process and communication with Vacasa is very smooth. We noticed a few ants on the kitchen counter and notified the property management company immediately. They took care of the issue quickly. Overall we had a great time and the kids want to stay longer.

Our family of 6 enjoyed staying at Blue Seas #124-A due to its short walk to the ocean and easy drive to Avon (with stores, Food Lion, etc.) and Frisco (Cape Hatteras Lighthouse, puttputt golf, etc.). The kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans and such. Our family enjoyed the games and puzzles provided. One of the best features was the top deck that provided great views of sunset. The house is looking a little dated but the layout, common area, decks and screened in porch were great.

We loved the location , 1 block to beach access , beautiful top deck views , nice hot tub , comfortable beds . Basic no frills home . Biggest issue was The TV and this is not acceptable for rental homes giving it 4 stars. Fix this TV issues and definitely Will give 5 stars next time .

We liked the location. Kitchen had just about everything you need. Well stocked with books, games and movies. Hot tub was nice. The only suggestion, and it is very minor, the tv’s could be upgraded.

Was very happy with this house. Dated but suited us perfectly. Hot tub was clean and very enjoyable. Loved the layout and the views. Kitchen was very well stocked. If we could buy it, we would. Only negative was the cable box downstairs. Error that couldn’t be cleared.

It was my husband, daughter, and I in the house all to ourselves and we enjoyed it so much. There are minor flaws, but any reasonable person would be happy here. Watching the stars at night in the jacuzzi was the best, we saw so many shooting stars! You can actually see the Hatteras lighthouse from the lower balcony at night also. We couldn't get the WiFi to work but our phones had data, so it was fine. Someone more tech savy probably could've made it work. We fed a family of stay cats just like the renters before us had done (so precious!), but bring bug spray because we got tons of mosquito bites, but the sprays should keep that from happening. We are considering staying here again next summer because it was such a nice time.

Great property, 4 minutes to beach

My family and I loved our stay at this house. So easy to get to the beach, and the hot tub was our late afternoon ritual. The roof deck views are excellent for sunsets. We will definitely be coming back to OBX. Only two small issues. After a long drive, we had to make all the beds (sheets crated outside) and it was unclear if the blankets were even clean, as they were strewn across the bedroom floors. Also, a gas grill on the deck would be a big and easy improvement.

Nice beach cottage

Spent Thanksgiving week at this cottage for the 2nd time. Very well kept and conveniently located to the sites of Avon. Short walk to Ramp 38 and a very quick drive to the Hatteras Lighthouse. House has all the amenities one needs for a pleasant stay at the great Outer Banks.
