Semi-Oceanfront Dog-Friendly House with Private Hot Tub and access to a Community Pool

Double your vacation excitement and pleasure at Twin Tides, a lovely house just one lot back from the beach, and refreshed with a clean, coastal feel. The Askins Creek beach walkway is just across a quiet, kid-friendly road that will deposit your guests at one of our favorite beaches. Twin Tides has easy parking and two carports. An outdoor shower will keep guests fresh, and a park grill will keep them fed. There is a welcoming hammock swing on the first exterior access landing.

The house opens with a sundeck with a bubbly hot tub and a large, furnished, screened-in porch with a picnic table. You can catch all sunrises and sunsets from the top-level lookout deck. Twin Tides has a large combo great room, with the kitchen and dining area. The kitchen features modern appliances, a breakfast bar, and an exterior west-facing sundeck. The cathedral ceiling with fans adds plenty of open space and a breeze to the mix. The living area has comfy resort furniture and an entertainment package with a large LED TV/DVD and stereo. Southwest bedroom one shares a full bath with tub shower with oceanside bedroom two. On the other side of the great room is Northwest bedroom three. Bedroom four shares a full bathroom with a tub/shower combo with bedroom three. All of the bedrooms have LED TVs. You will always find the perfect time and tide to hit the beach at lovely oceanside Twin Tides.

What a well appointed property ! Although it was just the two of us and our dog , we enjoyed the home and its amenities. Just a short walk to the beach and enjoy!!

Very nice home. Quiet, nice hot tub. Big enough for my family of 8. The path to the beach is an uphill hike there and back. Would definitely update with dark curtains to keep the cool air in. Overall great home.

Very quiet and convenient location. Great house layout and very comfortable for our group of 7. Not far from the beach and has has a foot wash and shower to keep the sand from making it up to the living area. Nice screened in porch to enjoy time outside big free. Overall a wonderful rental home.

The homey feel of this area with all the luxury of vacation. It was perfect. Walk to the beach or take a short drive to the pool. Grocery store is 2 min from the house as well as shopping. Traffic was not overwhelming and no matter which way you drove there were always new sights to see. It was relaxing and perfect.

This house was a perfect fit for our family of five! This is by far the cleanest house we have stayed in while vacationing in Avon! Only two houses away from the beach access. This section of the beach is so quiet...even on the Fourth of July.

I would give this house 4.5 stars but since I can't I'm rounding up. My only real complaint is white sheer curtains and cheap blinds on east facing bedroom windows. Would recommend room darkening curtains as not to wake up at 5 am with the sun. House was very clean. Layout is perfect with big, open area and dining table. Kids enjoyed the hot tub and beach is very close. We had a great week!

Nice, simple, single level home, easy to divide between two families with great room/kitchen in the middle. Close to the beach, but also close to the road, so keep an eye on your dog!

Nice house but lots of steps and the only view of water was from top balcony. Pretty good hike to ocean.

Twin Tides was perfect for my husband and I and our two dogs for a relaxing October getaway. The home has a great screen in porch and a gate at the top of the deck which shows the dogs to come outside but remain safe and contained. They enjoyed their time on the top deck relaxing in the sun as much as we did. Location is great, close to the grocery store, the beach is a short walk over the dune and Buxton is very close with some great restaurants. Needs were all very firm but comfortable. TV took a bit to figure out to get apps to work and log in to, but it worked well in the end. We actually had to use the heat (a first for us at the beach) and it was a very cozy house when we had to stay in to play some games and watch a movie. We loved it- it was perfect for our first trip to OBX in the fall!!! Fishing was great for my hubbie too!

Really awesome place to stay. Had all the things you could need in the kitchen down to the kids plates and cups! The added soaps were a nice touch as well. Close to the beach and restaurants. We had a wonderful week!

Nice house with an ocean view in a quiet area. Real close to public beach access, only two houses down. The way the house is set up is really convenient. Four bedrooms, two on each side sharing jack and jill bathrooms. The thing that really impressed me was a spindle was missing creating an open area big enough for a toddler to fall through. I reached out to Vacasa and they sent someone right over to replace the spindle along with several other things. The guy that came, Jeff was very friendly. They made my vacation that much more enjoyable.

Loved the open floor plan of living room and kitchen area. Hot tub was really nice too. Access to bathrooms next to all 4 bedrooms was very convenient. The screened porch was nice on rainy days, especially for our fur babies. Unless you have trouble climbing stairs, I would definitely recommend this home.

Just a few minutes to the beach, Boardwalk access Is probably ten yards from house. Extremely well stocked kitchen. Spotless hot tub. Fabulous screamed in porch for rainy day activities or extended dining seating. Lots of puzzles and games available.

The house is situated just a short walk from the public beach access. We loved being close enough to easily come and go from the beach multiple times each day. The layout of the house was perfect for our two families. We particularly enjoyed the screen porch. The outdoor shower and multiple spots with hoses was also nice and convenient. We’d stay again

We were greatly surprised to see how well stocked the home was. From bedding, to applicances, dishes, to soaps we had to worry about NOTHING!! Excellent layout to accomodate our group of 8. Not only was the home immaculate, so were the grounds and the hot tub. Will definitely stay here again if we're out this way, thank you!

The house is in a great location. It's a very short walk to the beach. It's well equipped with cooking utensils and dishes. It's exactly as advertised.

This house is a nice location and well equipped. Really the only thing it didn't have was enough potholders so no complaints on provisions. Lots of towels, kitchen equipment, plates etc and nee washer/dryer. Location was good, the beach entrance is very close. Really can't see the ocean though except for the upper deck. The layout was great for 2 families. Decently updated inside. It was clean and well appointed. Home has a big problem with ants, we laid put traps and kept it under control on our trip. Hottub needs to.be cleaned and stopped working and was leaking while we were there. Vacasa people responded to issue asap though. Definitely recommend for the price and location.

Loved the open floor plan! It was perfect for just the 2 of us and our hound too! The decor was beautiful and the house seemed to have everything we needed. Looking forward to staying again sometime!

Location is very good for surf fishing enthusiasts. What needs attention is obviously the AC, window units were the back. The sink in one bathroom was clogged bought Drano to fix it and again was slow by end of week. Beds are WAY TOO high I recommend bunky boards and new mattresses to lower them. Kitchen was well appointed and supplied with all utensils needed. Roof deck is a nice feature. We enjoyed our stay.
