The waves beat to a perfect rhythm for your vacation on the Outer Banks of North Carolina at the spacious and beautiful Ocean Song, situated on the oceanfront in Avon on Hatteras Island. Grab your flip flops and sunglasses and enjoy this nearly 3,000-square-foot, family-friendly, oceanfront beach house that features a private pool with expansive concrete pool area, a soothing hot tub tucked in a private corner and private beach access. Take a walk on stepping stones to the boardwalk dune crossover and see the beautiful, wide beach.

Ocean Song's first level has two bedrooms (one with twin beds and another with two sets of bunk beds for four individuals), a full bath, a washer/dryer nook, and a playroom with a TV, a table for games or lunch, and slider to the pool and hot tub. A handy mini-fridge for cold pool drinks is by the slider. The second level has an entertainment center and a desk nook, and three ensuite bedrooms - each with king-size beds and private baths. Two are oceanfront, so you can watch the sunrise through the slider to the deck. The third-level great room with a half-bath has wonderful natural light, tall ceilings, and a view of the ocean and pool. Enjoy a well-equipped kitchen with stainless appliances and a granite breakfast island, and serve your culinary creations in the oceanfront dining area. The wide, open living space features an entertainment area with a TV, music, and games. An additional oceanfront queen bedroom with a private bath and deck access completes the top floor.

More convenient amenities include a covered carport and all-weather entry, extra parking, a basketball hoop, a park, a grill, an outdoor shower, and a fish prep area. Visit, relax, and stay awhile - all there's left to do is book!

We love this home for its location, private pool, and covered hot tub. Open concept kitchen is great for evening dinners. The high dunes keep it very well protected from any ocean overwash or bad weather. Overall, this house has all we need and we will be booking again next year.

The home was well equipped with all and any cooking supplies, beds were clean and comfy, the view was AMAZING! When on the top floor you can watch the beautiful waves. The home was very very spacious,the pool and hot tub was fabulous! We have had a very great experience with Vacasa for the past 3 years. The only thing that bothered us (note: this has nothing to do with vacasa, or the home) but the walk to the beach wasn't bad at all but be prepared to step on cactus and the little prickle plants, they will get inbedded onto the bottoms of your shoes and be tracked in the house. They do not feel very good 😅 but the home in itself was wonderful! Very clean!

I have stayed in this house a few times over the years and was delighted with the thoughtful new additions for their guests. This is a beautiful place to watch the sun and moon rise over the dunes. The new king beds are terrific and a desk nook on the midlevel was useful. Brand new fans throughout the house and all new kitchenware was great. Most importantly, I know that there have been issues previously with cleaning by the property management company. The owners have hired a private cleaner who clearly takes the job seriously. The house was spotless. I can’t wait to visit again.

Overall the house was very well laid out. Nice rooms, nice common area for the adults on the 3rd floor and common area for the kids on the 1st floor. Was awesome to have the kid noise away. There are a couple things that I think could be a little better and it's important for the public to know... The kitchen is nice but most of the pans and utensils are terrible. Very low quality and cheap. I realize there can't be nice things because people might abuse/steal them, so people should bring their own if they want kitchen comfort. The beds are wore out but most still found them comfortable. The only queen room is on the top floor which is odd... We were there through a bad storm and the house felt very secure and safe. Pool and hot tub were very nice. You're going to get your exercise going up and down the stairs.

The house is great for a group, nice big living area on top floor with a dining table to seat a large family. Decks could use some repair, especially the steps leading from the second floor down to the pool area. You can’t see the beach from the top deck which was disappointing but you could hear the ocean. Rooms were spacious and beds were fine. Walk to the beach is not what we expected. Long walk and the bushes are overgrown so the pathway is small and at times seemed treacherous. Pool was a good size but concrete around the pool needs help. Easy for little ones to trip because there are parts that are sticking straight up. Overall it’s a nice house but could use some tlc.

We had a very enjoyable stay in July 2022. We did experience some initial disappointment when we didn't have linens for one of the king master bedrooms, but that didn't detract from the overall great vacation that we had. It takes two or three minutes to walk along the path over the dune to get to the ocean, and we really enjoyed being so close. The pool and hot tub were great!

Our new favorite house in Avon! House was ready and available earlier than expected and was impeccably clean. Pool was cleaned and usable immediately. Communication with Hatteras Realty was perfect. Looking forward to our next stay here

The house was very clean and had everything we needed. The walk to the beach was very difficult. We had to go to the pier to access the beach. The beds are super hard and very uncomfortable bring I recommend bringing a mattress pad.
