Only drawback was location based, not house based, being located on route 12 was a bit noisey, but it was a short 1 block walk to the beach, which in my opinion made up for it, would definitely rent it again

My family of 7 stayed for a long weekend tuna fishing trip, January 23-26, 2025. We were fortunate enough to see the big snow that this area got for the first time in forever! Roads were cleared and accessible quickly. House was clean and well equipped. Conveniently located to marinas, restaurants and grocery store. Would highly recommend. The arcade game was a big hit too!

I suggest bringing a jeep or truck like we did and drive to a beach access. Other than that home was very clean, plenty of bathrooms and great spots to hangout. I thoroughly enjoyed staying at Temptation. It’s a beautiful home that’s welcoming, comfortable, clean and close to beaches for shelling and exploring. There were plenty of historic sites, great restaurants and shopping nearby. I really enjoyed my relaxing week and I look forward to returning again!

Exactly as listed, I’ve been coming to Avon yearly for decades, (anyone have a nice place for sale?) This property is right on 12 basically as soon as you get into town. Walking distance to the beach and Froggy Dogs. The pool table and arcade games on the first floor are a nice touch. Would recommend and stay again.

Everything was great about this house for us. It was very spacious with a downstairs hot tub/pool table and a second floor space that allowed for my husband to work a bit too. The top floor had a great open concept and nice kitchen/dining table. We really liked watching the stars on the top deck at night - plenty of seating for all of us. The house was very close to the beach. We simply had to cross the street and that took us to the beach path (5 min walk). We were able to do an early morning walk and then go back again with chairs later. There were a few good restaurants but Pangea was a favorite. Avon is a beautiful place for a vacation!

This home was great! It was clean and the large kitchen was awesome for our group of 10. It is well stocked with dishes and cooking pots and pans. We loved the video game machine. It was a short walk to the beach. Check in was simple. We would stay here again.

We had a great stay for our first time visiting the outer banks. The weather cooperated, the home was perfect and we were very grateful for the cargo lift on the side of the house as the kitchen was on the 3rd floor. We would definitely rent this home again.

Everything about this home was awesome except just one issue. The hot tub cover really needs to be replaced!!! It's so waterlogged!!! This makes it extremely heavy! It was all my husband and I could do to get the cover off, enjoy the tub and then picking up a cover that probably weighed close to 90+ pounds back on the tub!!! Please replace the cover ... It's not hard to do!! Other than that, the entire week was amazing!!

Amenities were great. Excellent layout to hangout in groups or have your own privacy. Lift that goes up to each floor balcony was a nice add-on. Fun arcade game and ni e pool table.

The house has a nice location and was more than big enough to accommodate my whole party. It was a nice short walk to the beach, and everyone loved the game/hot tub room as well as sitting up on the third deck at night. We would definitely stay again as the house had everything we needed during the duration of our stay. As someone who has been coming to the Outer Banks for over a decade this house has it all.

We were very pleased with this beautiful outer banks home. The gorgeous blue color and beachy decor helped to add to the relaxation ambiance of the house. Our group loved the multiple amenities available to fit all guests needs and interests. The luggage lift was a super appreciated bonus that was a hit with us! The short walk to the beach and nearby restaurants and grocery store helped us save time so that we could spend more of our time together making memories. We would recommend this home to our friends and family who are looking for a beautiful get away!

Loved this house! Everything was so organized and clean it was awesome. Our kids loved the game room and the hot tub was perfect for adult winding down time. Access to the beach was great. Very cozy home. I loved that they literally supply you with everything you need to enjoy your vacation comfortably. I would definitely book this home again for future stays

Wonderful and relaxing experience, well appointed property that was clean, spacious and made vacationing easy. The property was close to the beach. It does however require a bit of effort to get all of the gear across highway 12 since the house sits on the opposite side of it so bring an equipment caddy cart. The noise from the main drag was not an issue at all. The house is also conveniently located within a mile of several restaurants and cafes as well as retail and grocery store. I rated the communication with property management as only four stars bc I had to call a few times to get the answer to the request I made over the phone and on the third call I made back to them after five days they told me that the request had been granted only no one from Vacasa had emailed or called me to notify me of that. But they were always professional and friendly when we spoke and did accommodate our request so we were pleased. We would definitely rent this place again

Spacious, clean and welcoming home. Perfect for relaxing, close walk to beach and quick drive to grocery store. The ground floor game room offered lots of post-sun diversion and the jacuzzi was a nice added touch. We would love to come back again in the near future!

This was the cleanest home we have rented in OBX in many years. Everything was exactly as listed. Close to everything. About a block away from the beach access. We had some rain and the house has lots of things to keep you busy...pool table, video games, etc. Hot tub was smaller than most, but newer as well. Will definetly come back to this home!

It's a huge house. The only reason I'm leaving a 4 instead of a 5 star review is the trash by the last tenants was left in the bins outside. We had to take it out our selfs.

This was the first time visiting the outer banks for us. Our 3 year old enjoyed her own room and her own. Space. She even made a friend a neighborhood cat came and visited. We got to meet some of the neighbors. The road was closed Sunday but reopened Tuesday so we got to get out and enjoy the weather. The house is beautiful and we got some much needed family time in that's for everything. When I had a question about anything I had an answer within the hour thanks so much.

I wish there were more stars!! This was my first time staying at OBX and now I'm worried that the bar has been set too high regarding what to expect. This house was so spacious and at the same time so inviting. The balconies were fantastic and my daughter loved the game room. And I can't even begin to talk about the luggage elevator and what a great help that was. If you have a big family and want a place to enjoy some peace and quiet, this is the spot.

Beautiful and VERY clean property! Very impressed with the short distance to the beach. Wonderful views from the balconies. Interior is warm and welcoming! My favorite spot is the 3rd-floor kitchen and living space, a lot of windows and an open floor plan. We will definitely be visiting again.

This house had everything we needed to cook large meals for our family . We were impressed by how clean everything was. This house was close to Dairy Queen, the 4 wheel drive beach and the grocery store. Loved that it had a pool table for the kids and a hot tub for relaxing. We had a fantastic time!
