We had a wonderful week-long stay here with our dog. The home has so much charm and plenty of space to spread out, which made it perfect for a relaxing getaway. The beach was an easy walk and very accessible, which we loved. It was also incredibly quiet, with plenty of space for our dog to enjoy. The house felt comfortable and welcoming from the moment we arrived. A great spot for anyone looking for a cozy, spacious home base for their trip!

Being on the beach, hot tub, nice furniture, Wet bar area. Location near great dining.

Loved the fenced in areas for the fur babies and great beach access. Needs a little TLC in terms of updates and maintenance fixes.

We loved the location of this house! A quick walk over the dune to the beach and the deck and hot tub are a great place to listen to the waves and gaze at the thousands of stars at night! The house was exactly as described and the pictures are spot-on. It was clean, the beds were comfortable and we had no issues with the house. And we loved the fenced dog area under the deck! If we ever come back to Avon, we absolutely stay here again!

It was the perfect spot for an off season trip to the ocean. Definitely check out the seafood market across the street!!

The easy beach access, the constant views of the surf… Bambi’s good morning visit!!! Avon is our favorite destination: close ton everything, yet this feeling that we are alone on the beach… well, November sure is quiet!!! The dune protects us from the elements… there was bad weather during our stay, but we never felt in danger and were updated with the situation. We’ll be back!!!

Perfect house to stay with my family (5 kids and hubby). We enjoyed our first offseason stay after 20+ years of vacationing in OBX. The house offered beautiful ocean views and spacious living space. Would definitely consider staying here again.

This property was excellent. You truly can tell that the owners have put thought into their guests who travel with their dogs. The outside runs were great! However, the one next to driveway has a lot of sand spurs. The views of the Dunes were amazing and the sunrises to die for! The house was well stocked and had everything you would need! The kitchen had everything that you needed. We did not need to unpack a good bit that we brought. And there is a charcoal grill also. Short walk to the beach for public access however the dune / walkway is a good climb down to the beach. And the climb back up takes a good bit. All of our guest enjoyed the views, Avon is our favorite part of OBX! This property is perfect location! We will definitely rent this place again!

Great stay.. Really enjoyed the upper level of house with great ocean view situated in the unique sand dunes. Kitchen stocked with everything we needed and bathrooms matched house layout well . Hopefully return some day.. Thanks

House is right on the water, right down the beach from the pier. We spent the week sitting in the sand and taking in the ocean scenery. On the one day it rained, we just sat in the hot tub! Can't wait to stay again soon!

Had a lovely week at the property, great location and had all the amenities. I will say the couch is pretty uncomfortable, might consider replacing it.
