Set on Avon's pristine north end and accessible only by bridge, Island Creek Resort offers over 1,000 feet of shallow sound-front access. Windsurfers, kite surfers, kayakers, and kids will love this ultra-friendly location, where miles of open Pamlico Sound facilitate launching, fishing, exploring, relaxing, or just horsing around in the water. Please note that the fireplace is not available for guest use. The boat ramp and docks handle small boats and personal watercraft. You will be required to sign an additional lease agreement upon making a booking, which will be sent to your email. Please Note: Guests have access to the Club Hatteras Pool Facility. Additional details around this facility will be shared in your check-in email and during the check-in process. The club is typically open mid-May to mid-October, depending on weather.

As described in a convenient location to sound and ocean. As advertised, great hot tub- really nice set up with plenty of room for our family. The positioning of the home didn't offer much privacy but we were there in the winter and it was perfect.

Since privately owned, maintance and improvements have be made to this property - and the location is excellent for wind sports.

Very comfortable and clean house. Loved the location in Island Creek...water views no matter which way you looked... from the kitchen or the deck.

What a great spot everything to love from a 10 minute walk for sunrise to watching the sunset off your deck. It has it all ocean and sound. The house was great. Lots of room and space for enjoying family time. The only negative is after driving 12 hours to find out we couldn’t check in an hour early at 4pm instead of 5pm. 5 pm is late and it was difficult to get unpacked and settled and such you definitely loose your first night. Looking forward to next year.

1) The view and location on the sound is great! We usually get oceanfront but the activity in this particular location with wind and kite surfers provided constant entertainment. In fact several of our neighbors were active with both right off the docks in front of us. 2) The house is perfect for 4 couples who each want their own private sleeping space and bathroom. 3The common areas are very well equipped and comfortable for all activities, eating, playing games reading, lounging etc. 4) The deck is very comfortable with plenty of seating for relaxing and taking in the great expansive sound view 5) The hot tub and the view when lounging there is very relaxing after a long day at the beach! 6) The location is close to everything in town. 7) Parking area is ample for four large vehicles and there is even a covered area for one additional vehicles The pool is large with plenty of lounging/seating available. 8) Overall the property was clean, well kept and very comfortable

The house was perfect. The location was perfect. We did notice a lot of dust on the banister and a few other places. We also had to rewash most of dishes we needed to use because they were dirty with residue from the dishwasher. We would suggest having sitting on the lower deck with the hot tub. There was nowhere to sit for those who wanted to be with us while we in the hot tub. The rooms and bathrooms were very clean. I liked the UV light in the bathroom. The media room was very nice to have on the lower floor.

This is a large house with great views of soundfront for water sports. Sunsets were spectacular! Easy beach access across the street and close to shopping, dining etc. Hot tub was a major bonus : ) Avon is the nicer of the towns, less crowded and less commercial

Loved the view and the house. Had some problems with the refrigerator and trash pick-up. Need a can opener that works. Text messaging to vacasa helpful but prefer speaking directly to management.
