I loved the location of this house. The view from the deck was spectacular. The location within the Outer Banks is in a spot where you can make a day trip up to the Wright Brothers memorial, catch the ferry out to Ocracoke if you want to explore.

Although the steps were a challenge, I'm 73 with some health issues, it was worth the climb! The condo is showing some age, but the beds are very comfy and it was very clean. The views are very nice! My niece and I were on the trip 5 years in the making and we were very satisfied with our choice! Thanks!

I really enjoyed my time in this home. I have stayed in many houses in OBX over the last 15 years, and I was impressed by Vacasa. First with the cleanliness, the start-off products provided (soap, sponge, detergent, plenty of toilet paper, even an extra trash bag. Things you might forget your first day and are so happy to have). I'm not sure if the built-in shower products are in all vacasa homes, but they were such a welcome surprise in this home. The company they used even donates bars of soaps to those in need! I loved the ease of use of the vacasa app, and the responsiveness through texting when I had a question was immediate! I was texted too when the home was ready 4 hours ahead of schedule! This house was perfect for my stay. I read previous reviews about the stairs being a problem. There are indeed 62 stairs, and as a fitness adict, you will still feel a slight "oof!" When you carry your bags to the top, but it was a good workout during a week of indulgence. I also read people didn't like the obstructed view. Honestly, you see the water, pier, and people on the beach. I was not left wanting, and I am used to unobstructed views. Hand over fist, i would book this home, and through Vacasa again!

We had a great girls trip to Avon at the Waves Crest. Yes, there are 4 flights of stairs up to the condo. But that means really good views once you are up. We spent a lot of time on the balcony and ate all our meals out there. We were a little worried when it was pouring rain and almost check out time, however the weather cleared and we were able to conquer those stairs one last time. Avon is a great little town and we enjoyed the location, walking to the beach, and hanging out in the comfortable space. It is very clean and had almost everything we needed. For the price, it was fantastic!

Beautiful house with great views. Lots of steps but not bad. Deck was great, especially having a picnic table! Would definitely come back.

The emplacement was just perfect. Just by the beach and a great view from the balcony. We even got to see dolphins jumping and surfing in the waves while taking our morning coffee. Amazing!

The apartment unit was as it was described. We had a great time visiting the Outer Banks and we enjoyed our stay in Waves Crest.

My family of 4 with a 4 and 2 year old loved this rental. Waves Crest had everything, a decent view, private beach access, pool, and it’s in a nice town that is Avon. We were able to ride our bikes essentially everywhere including food lion, surf shops, local seafood shops and restaurants, and anything you need within a 10 min bike ride. The rental was clean, comfortable, and had a good assortment of dishes/utensils/cookware to make our stay as pleasant as possible. We would 100% stay at this place again.

The spacious unit and wonderful light made this 4th floor condo great, with spectacular views. The steps, 5 floors outside, might be a deal-breaker for some, but personally I loved it. Easy was to get in better shape for a beach vacay. Everything you need is there, dishwasher, w&d, brand new fridge, ample bedding. You will need beach towels, chairs, umbrella and your own hairdryer. Host has a bookshelf full of books and games for any ages. Overall a great week exploring OBX from this central location!

The deck was spectacular!! See the Pier and see the beach. Was able to sit on deck and hear a band that we didn't know was even going to be playing! Condo was was very comfortable!

I really loved the location it was great place but when people go to the outer banks they go there to do fishing It would be nice to have fishing station where you could clean your fish and wash it off And a hose with running water this way you could clean fishing poles and bicyckes from riding on beach And a working toaster

Been coming to Avon for years and this condo has been one of our favorites. Clean, well kept, and great view and location!!!
