Description

Traditional Hatteras construction, custom comfort, and wonderful convenience are all part of the Offshore experience! Offering the closest ocean access on Cedar Circle, this home is an easy walk from the beach and the supermarket. You'll be on the the west (sound side) of the island, perfect for relaxing in privacy. The first living level offers a well-appointed kitchen with a breakfast bar, a dining area, a den, and a screened deck/picnic area. A large bedroom and bathroom complete this floor. The second living level offers two bedrooms with a bathroom and a comfortable living room. Admire the view from the furnished sundecks, or enjoy the amenities, which include high-speed internet, large flatscreen TVs with DVD players in every room, stereos, a PlayStation 2, and a collection of games and books. We include the standard Hatteras amenities, as well as clean and current furnishings and decor. Offshore provides plenty of covered parking and lockable storage for your surf rods and windsurfing gear, as well as a location that's convenient to Canadian Hole and the South Avon 4WD ramp. We loved this house! Clean, roomy and went beyond our expectations! We loved the location. It was quiet and relaxing. We loved that there was a community pool. We did have one issue, we called Vacasa and it was addressed that day. Great customer service! We would definitely rent again!

This was so charming it’s a true beach house. Wood interior making beaching. It had everything we needed. If youre looking for a completely renovated modern place this is not it. But it has everything you need and it truly was like visiting the beach at a beach cottage. We loved it. So easy to get to the beach. Less than 5 minute walk. Beach is not crowded and beautiful. The home is walking distance to food lion which was also a bonus. We will be back again.

House was perfect for our family fishing trip. Location in proximity to the ramps to get out on the beach was great; also very convenient to Food Lion. House was a little dated, but that wasn’t something that was a big deal to us. Parking area is small, so had to be strategic in vehicle parking. Overall, we were satisfied with the house and our stay; we would definitely consider coming back to this house again.

After reading other reviews before booking we were skeptical of how dated the house would be and the quality. After arriving we were pleasantly surprised that it was really nicer than we had expected and everything we needed for a nice beach vacation. We loved the location too.

House is on a corner lot, minutes from beach and walking distance from store. Neighborhood is nice, very friendly and dog friendly. We were lucky to find this and really happy with it.

For the price we paid (6/24), the location and house could not be beat. Completely walkable to beach, store, and restaurants. The house is homey and the furniture is comfortable. We really enjoyed the two separate living spaces, one on each floor. 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with plenty of space for four people and dogs. We would definitely return to this location!

Great location with direct access to the beach and walking distance to grocery store which is a plus. House is a little dated with few amenities, but perfect for a small family wanting a simple beach getaway.

This house was absolutely perfect for a wonderful week away. The house was spotless when we arrived (actually it was ready earlier than expected!) Now this is a beach house so we have a certain expectation and have to plan accordingly. We pack a lot of our own kitchen needs to make our stay more enjoyable. The walk to the beach was so easy! Our favorite spot in the house was the upstairs porch or as we called it the “party porch” where we enjoyed coffee in the morning and an evening glass of wine. We cannot wait for another stay!

The location is very convenient , within walking distance of the the supermarket and across the street from access to the beach. The main kitesailing/windsurfing location (Kite point/Canadian hole) is just down the street. The kitchen is very well equipped for people who want to cook at home. We cook and had everything we needed. The layout is just ok, there is no master bathroom. The living room on the main level is small, there is another one the next level up. The beds were comfortable. The house is old and has not been updated. The carpets are falling apart. It is however dog friendly, and we did not have to worry about them damaging anything fancy. If you are looking for luxury, its not the place. If you want something very functional and in a good location, this will do nicely. We would return.

Comfortable, older OBX home with convenient beach across just across Hwy 12 and close to the Lighthouse to the south and Food Lion to the north. Showing its age just a bit, but overall well maintained and comfortable. Stairs are a bit steep, and kitchen/dining area and main living room are on separate floors. Kitchen is well equipped. Would stay here again depending on the size of our group.

We loved the house so much room for our family of 5. Walk right to the beach. Only complaint was check in was at 4pm but house wasn't ready until 6pm. We drove all night from Connecticut so we were tired. But other then that house was great. House had plenty of dishes pots and pans. They also left dishwasher soap laundry soap. I would definitely book again.
