Duneshine is a true gem. This polished rental home was designed with relaxation in mind! At ground level, find ample concrete parking, an outdoor shower, a beachfront grilling station, and a boardwalk to the beach. The first level features a cathedral ceiling bunk room with plenty of space for your crew. Three rooms have deck access, perfect to make your way to our six-person hot tub at the end of a day at the beach! The second level boasts a wonderful wood-lined great room with exposed beams and stunning ocean views. The spacious dining and kitchen areas share a beautifully tiled floor and are well equipped for culinary adventures. Off the kitchen, a south-facing screened porch is a wonderful location for early morning breakfasts. An elegant wooden spiral staircase leads you to this home's third-level loft bedroom, where a private deck offers unprecedented views of the Atlantic. Expansive decks on all three levels capitalize on the house's oceanfront location and allow for plenty of time relaxing or entertaining outside.

Hot tub unavailable for safety reasons. Thankfully, it was unseasonably warm, so I was able to walk the beach, in lieu of hot tub time. Cottage was clean. I had to secure all of the windows because they were not closed all of the way. I have been in many many Avon, NC rentals over the years and this was among the cleanest and coziest. Plenty of rooms and bathrooms for a family of 5-10.

We’ve shared your note about the windows with housekeeping and maintenance so they’ll be double‑checked before future arrivals. They are crank outs and can be a bit finicky. It did have access to the beach, although the steps are quite a lot, especially when you have small children.

We enjoyed this old style beach house. The carpeted and tile floors and furniture are in decent shape. The linens were good. The master bed needs a new mattress as there is a dip in the middle. Overall, the owners take care of the house. We really appreciated the well stocked kitchen. Lots of glasses, utensils, cookware, big pots, new-ish appliances. We'll keep on the lookout for this house again if we need 4-5 bedrooms.

Access to the beach was close. The lounge chairs outside were great. Lots of windows, the house could use some updates but overall we enjoyed our stay. The parking is a little tough for 4 trucks. We would stay here again.

We LOVED our stay at Duneshine! The house is adorable and very well equipped. The kitchen had everything we could ever need (we loved the tupperware supply!) and the library of books was a great addition. We had a lovely experience here!

We stayed with three adult couples. Nice space, short walk to the beach. Not too many hide-away spaces, but plenty of furniture and kitchen supplies. 5pm check-in seems firm (if even a little later). Plan accordingly. I wish we had made plans for the day instead of waiting.

Very nice. Beautiful sunrise views. Walkway and stairs over the dunes make this very comfortable even for older people. Plenty of comfortable beds. Hot tub was awesome. Stovetop was dirty, but not a show stopper, and screened porch has two screens that are missing. Wasn't a problem for us but might make for a miserable time on the screened in porch once the mosquitos come out. Overall, a wonderful time at the beach.

Our family stayed for two weeks in this great big house! It was clean, comfortable, and very roomy! The kitchen was really well stocked with a wonderful selection of pots and pans and lots of dishes. The view from the decks was beautiful. We look forward to staying here again!

We loved the home! Convenient pace in Avon! Right on the beach. Home could use some updating. Like door handles, the fridge and dishwasher.. but it was very roomy, lots of deck space!

We loved our 3 days here! Very comfortable. Beautiful views. Comfortable beds. Well stocked kitchen as far as cooking wares. No spices were available. Only regret was our time was too short. Easy check in & checkout.
