The northwest bedroom on the third floor has been upgraded. Relax in style with four high-quality deck chairs now adorning the fourth-floor balcony, creating the ideal spot for soaking in the views. - Gather around at our tiki hut, which now features six new premium bar stools, perfect for enjoying drinks and good company. - Families will love the newly added full-over-full bunk bed with a trundle in the third-floor southeast bunk room, providing ample sleeping space for everyone. - The fourth-floor ‘crows nest' has received a fresh paint makeover, creating an inviting atmosphere to gather and unwind. Coffee lovers will appreciate our added high-capacity coffee maker that brews up to 30 cups, ensuring that everyone can start their day with a perfect cup of coffee. - To enhance safety and convenience, we've installed signage, switch labeling, and nightlights in the stairways and hallways. We can't wait for you to experience these fantastic improvements! Vacation pleasures abound at the lovely, 4,500-square-foot Blue Waters, located in the soundside Kinnakeet Shores subdivision with miles of great biking and community sound access. Recently renovated, this sound-facing, custom home boasts nothing but primary bedrooms, plus numerous full bathrooms and half-baths, guaranteeing a comfortable vacation. You'll enjoy a private location with boardwalk access approximately 350 feet from the property with stunning sound views. Updates for the 2024 season include new flooring, new paint inside and out, new decking, new and comfortable bedding, and beautiful artwork throughout. The ground level has two carports, an under-house entry, a private saltwater pool with a tropical bar, a hot tub, an enclosed outside shower and cabana bath near the pool area, and a wrap-around covered countertop space with water and eating for grilling or outside meals by the pool. The first floor opens with a recreation room with a pool table, shuffleboard table, an elevator, a mini-kitchen (including a wet bar, a microwave, and a fridge), a half-bath, a home theater room with Netflix access, and a nearby laundry area with double washers and dryers. A main bedroom (with a king-size bed) includes deck access. The second level features four upscale main bedrooms (three with a king bed apiece, and one with a double-over-double bunk bed), all with deck access. There is also a mid-level den with double recliners, a 36-inch TV, and deck access. All bedrooms are equipped with 39-inch smart Roku TVs and the main living room is equipped with a Roku TV. Topside, Blue Waters opens to a large great room with a half-bath, tall cathedral ceilings, a spacious living area with resort furniture, a fireplace, decks with postcard-perfect views of the sunsets and sound, and a fourth level sky high loft window that offers great views of the ocean with new pub-style seating, ideal for playing cards, games or just relaxing and reading a book. Culinary fun begins in the all-equipped kitchen with double dishwashers, granite countertops, and a breakfast bar. The nearby dining area has access to a large sundeck. The super-fun sixth and seventh main bedrooms have full bathrooms and deck access. Blue Waters also offers access to the Kinnakeet Shores soundside pool and tennis courts. Blue Waters owns the beach, the bay, and your vacation heart. This home is within walking distance of the sound boardwalk.

It was a wonderful stay, we paid to have the pool heated while we were there and everyone enjoyed it even on the cooler days.

Annie at Casago Hattersas Poperty was amazing--helped me get in the secrue locked door. The place is huge with an elevator for all to use. Especially us in 50s up in our 80s. the sunsets are breath taking---sunset---and sunrise deck on 4th---the paths on the sound access amazing--food lion close---walk to the ocean---what a great spot--no neighbors---will rent here again--all 8 people loved the house---was lonely for a day by myeself--so i left -hahaha.

The home is very spacious and accommodating for a large group. The game room and theater room were a great amenity! The view of the sunsets each night was an added bonus. The only recommendation is to upgrade the coffee maker.

Our family has been coming to OBX for 40+ years and have stayed in a lot of homes. This one was perfect for our family with the 6 king bedrooms and a kids room. The extra amenities were awesome! We would stay here again!

Overall nice! Furniture needs a little updating. Lots of stairs (the elevator works but is slow)... Breathtaking views and nice quiet community for walks. Good location, very close to Food Lion and a few restaurants. Pool area was nice and lots of extra spaces for hanging out. Fun family trip!!!

We enjoyed our week in this home! It was very clean and some things listed in the reviews were taken care of. Negatives - * Stove is the still an issue. Takes almost 2x as long to cook in the oven but we planned for that after looking at the reviews. *not much space to store groceries * Only a total of 4 plastic chairs for deck seating * parking- it says 7 vehicles but it was tricky with 3 (2 trucks and a van.) The driveway narrows and you can only pull vehicles partially under the house due to amenities under there. The rooms were all a good size, everything was clean, great amount of seating inside for dining, relaxing or watching a game of pool, decent amount of chairs around the pool, WiFi worked great, central air worked great, kids loved the media room, all 3 fridges worked perfectly, there are two kayaks there to use which is really convenient, pool was awesome, and same for the hot tub. There are lots of dishes and pots and pans, cooking utensils, eating utensils, and knives to use. This is definitely a house we would stay in again!

We stayed in this house in 2019 and returned this year because of the location (we love Avon), the pool, the elevator, the number of rooms, the theater room. We appreciate some of the upgrades since then (new carpet on the stairs, new flooring in some of the rooms, new deck on the west side, etc.)

Nice quite neighborhood and semi private with open lots on 3 sides. Some non-stick frying pans and higher quality cooking utensil’s would be an easy upgrade. Clean pool and plenty of TV’s too, but no ESPN on Roku :-(

Blue Waters was a great house for our annual family vacation. We all were blown away by the view—sunrise over the ocean, sunset over the sound. We had enough space for the whole family. We loved the pool table and the theatre. All the bedrooms were good sized and each bathroom was very nice. We loved having the elevator - it made it so much easier to bring groceries up to the kitchen. Double dishwashers and double washer/dryers really helped us. The house was spotless when we arrived. The cleaning crew did a great job! We loved the pool and the hot tub. We didn’t use the kayaks but it was good to know they were there. The location was great. We always stay in Avon because it’s close to the grocery store, the pier, Canadian hole and only a 20 minute ride to Hatteras Snowballs We only discovered the path to the boardwalk and Sound toward the end of our week. It would have been helpful to have a guest book in the house ( every previous house we’ve rented had one) that highlights things to do, including a map of the area with the trails noted. The towels provided in the bathrooms were the thinnest I have ever used. If you are providing them with the house, you should invest in quality. Our one complaint has to do with the size of the kitchen. The house has 7 bedrooms but the kitchen is small. When you buy food and cook for 7 couples, you need space. Counter space was limited and there was little cabinet space for pantry items. We wound up putting food items in bags on the floor because there was minimal cabinet space. The Wifi was excellent—with all the laptops, phones and tablets going at once, the signal was always strong. We all had a great time at Blue Waters, and even with the small kitchen would recommend it to any family.

Great house, plenty of space for everyone!

Blue Waters was a great house for our family. It is a little weathered and there are some cosmetic issues and the bathrooms are a little dated but everything functioned perfectly. The elevator is a major plus since the kitchen and main living spaces are on the 4th floor and the elevator starts on the ground level (BIG PLUS). The views from the each floor were great. There are shaky banisters on the ocean side of the house and there were cracks in the area around the pool ladder that made the ladder not stable to climb out of but otherwise in good condition and clean. This house gave everyone enough space to spread out, the theatre room was great but i would recommend putting curtains on the windows for better blackout. EVERY ROOM has a tv that you can login to your streaming sites. EVERY bedroom has a full bathroom. 2 washers and 2 dryers made even the dull task of laundry a breeze. This house was a great place to enjoy the beach with great views and a short drive or bike ride to the beach.
