The spacious great room features soaring ceilings, a huge 75' smart TV, and wall-to-wall windows showcasing panoramic ocean views. The expansive decks on the east, south and west side of the house offer prime opportunities to take in the sunrise with your coffee, watch dolphins swim by, or enjoy a glass of wine as the sun sets. Downstairs, you'll find oceanfront bedrooms with new linens, private baths and decks, a bunk room, and a newly refreshed shared bath. Upstairs, a loft space features a classic slate pool table and one of the best ocean views in Avon. We've added thoughtful touches for families—like a Pack 'n Play, highchair, and bottle warmer—plus upgraded smart TVs in every room. Outside, we've cleared and leveled the space under and around the home for dedicated parking, added a park-style grill, and installed new front steps and a new roof (October 2024). The house was just perfect. Very clean, well equipped with everything you could need. The house is located in a nice area with paved roads allowing for walking or bike riding. The automatic lighting in the entryway was a great addition to the house as well as all of the outside lighting. The beach access over the dunes was one house away and made it someday to get on the beach. We really enjoyed everything about the house and the location.

We loved the location, even with the wind. The seclusion partnered with the easy access to things to do if we wanted to do them. The charm of a small town is always inviting....all be it off-season.

Really awesome, well laid out home right on the water. Beach access two doors down (please don't walk on the dunes!). Plenty of space. Big bedrooms and decent bathrooms. Outdoor showers were excellent. Our biggest issues were with Vacasa - top floor AC was broken half the week and it took a long time to get adequate window units. Bathroom shampoos were empty. Not enough towels. Little things, really, and not the fault of the home or owner. We did learn to always go in person to the vacasa office, it's a two minute drive away, and they respond much faster that way. We had a great week and would definitely rent again!

The house was absolutely fantastic, and the view was just incredible! We've been visiting the Outer Banks for decades, and it was such a treat not to have to pack sheets and towels this time—something we've done so many times before! We had so much fun playing pool every day, and we really loved the puzzle table; it was such a great addition. Overall, it was truly a wonderful stay!

This house is in a perfect location - the ocean is literally at the doorstep and the new walkway and stairs 1 house away makes beach access so easy! Gorgeous views from everywhere. Well stocked, spacious comfortable home. We were there over Christmas and the house had been beautifully decorated. There are new owners and appreciated the improvements already made. Sure more updates are in the works.

This is our second time staying in Star Kissed. The view is breathtaking and the house is beautiful. We had some hiccups but the owners are working on fixing and replacing. Vacasa was very helpful with they and made it right.

Everyone loved this place! It was much bigger than we expected and quite comfortable for us. the cleaning crew was amazing. Pool table was a lot of fun!

Nice clean facilities with great common area living space and decks. Easy to be together when you want and have privacy when you prefer it. Beautiful beach and not crowded. Beach side deck is perfect and covered region great for shade and rain. There are A LOT of stairs so if someone has mobility issues this isn’t the house for you. Steep walk over the dune to the beach as well. Living space on top floor optimized the view of the beach. Fishing pier very close by/easy walk. Two outdoor showers were a great option for after the beach. Food Lion, restaurants within one minute but not super touristy, which we loved!

This beach home is lovely. The floorplan is so accommodating for multiple guests. We found that the house had everything that we needed in the kitchen. So nice to have a Keurig in the morning. Beautiful views of the beach and so close to the beach access. Great use of technology in the house, with easy to use guides via the privacy friendly Alexa device. Working while at the beach? There is an awesome desk/workspace where I could close the glass french doors and hop on a Zoom call. The teenagers really loved the loft with the pool table. Loved our stay and we will definitely be back.

We really enjoyed our stay! The pool table was great, the house was well furnished, kitchen is decently stocked, and has great bedrooms. We really enjoyed our stay in this house. Great memories were made. I would stay there again if the chance came.

The view. When you walk into the living room it takes your breath away. The big windows allow you to enjoy the view even in bad weather. The decks were perfect for ocean watching and even had a small wedding on the second level. Watching the sun rise over the ocean from bed was incredible. The fish cleaning station under the house was handy. The tv in the living room was very nice but we only turned it on once. It was super clean and everything worked. Having an extra mini fridge was convenient. I will definitely be booking this house again. We couldn’t of been happier.

Home was wonderful for family vacation only complaint is just like other previous ones need new NON Stick frying pans badly ! Had to purchase ours for 60 dollars to be able to cook ! Other than upstairs couch’s everything else very comfortable views are spectacular , foot steps to the ocean elderly family members couldn’t walk over dune but there’s a public boardwalk next to house to get out to the beach We will definitely be back 🏖️

Love the location. Loved the views. Easy access to boardwalk, one house away, to get on and off beach. We came to surf fish so that was nice. We could fish, leave to come back to house for lunch or breaks and see our stuff while in house and on deck which was nice and convenient. Food Lion was quick and easy to get to. Overall the house was perfect for our group of 8. Will most likely rent it again in the future.

The house was Beautiful and spacious. The views were spectacular. The dune was quite steep, when I booked it, it didn’t look that steep. I usually try to book a house that doesn’t have such a dune. I didn’t realize this one did. It didn’t look like it did in the picture. It would be very hard for older members. It was very convenient to the beach. The kitchen had everything you would need to cook any meal, very well stocked. Knives were quite dull. We enjoyed our stay very much. And will be returning in September.

The house was great. Everything was clean and in order when we arrived. Weather was rough at times because of hurricane Lee moving North off the coast. But, a bad day at the beach is still better than a good day work.

House was right on the beach. Beach access was a little tricky for some older members as the dune was quite steep. It was advertised as recently renovated kitchen with new appliances. We stayed there five years ago and it was all the same. The hose for clean off from the beach had no nozzle and had holes in it and though you are asked to conserve water it is hard to do.

The house was gorgeous with beautiful views and so convenient to the beach. It was well stocked, with pretty much everything we needed. The only issues; the pots and pans were warped and there were many ants all over the house. I have let Vacasa know about the ants (however they didn’t take my name, the name of the house, or anything at all when I called - maybe they could tell where I was using my phone number?) which were, oddly, not in the kitchen but everywhere else - living room, bathrooms, decks, bedrooms, etc. And, unless you are looking for perfection or are trying to make an omelet, the pots and pans are useable. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely return as I’m sure the ant problem will be taken care of quickly.

The kitchen was well equipped, though we didn’t cook much. Dirty Dicks and the Froggy Dog, did most of that. Plenty of games and puzzles and movies, though we didn’t use any of them. Bought our own. Pool table was great though I never won a game. Fantastic views. This is what it is about. It scored 100 on that. We can’t get that at our home. We had another nice week on our beautiful getaway island.

Home is just perfect, and wonderful for anyones stay… large or small group/family. Plenty enough items for kitchen use, not enough towels/oven mits. The home definitely needs deep cleaning with dust on big wall hanging, curtains covered in dust from return vents, most curtain tie back hooks loose/fallen off. We enjoyed the view and the stay! Thank you!

First of all, the view is amazing and right on the beach! Loved how the house was very spacious. I also love the fact that we were near Food Lion and other stores, just in case you needed or ran out of something. We did cook at the home most nights, but a night we didn't we ordered Nino's Pizza, which I recommend for a good pizza place. We were also able to use the community pool, which was located in same parking lot right by Hatteras Realty. Overall I would come back! Very nice location.

The home is in an ideal location but could use some basic improvements. For one, main TV is about the size of computer monitor and Must be upgraded as one can barely see what is on the screen. Investment in pots and skillets would be much appreciated as well as in wine glasses - we had only 6 and each one different!. Other than that the house is very nice (3rd time we stayed there).

Right on the beach and at best part of beach. Close to shops, restaurants, and groceries. Well equipped kitchen. Plenty of room and accommodations for 10 people. We had a great stay.

The house is gorgeous with a breathtaking view! The layout is great and we loved the tall chairs on the porch. Everything was very well cleaned. There were a couple of things that could be updated, but they did not affect our stay too much: 1) Dining room chairs are not in great shape, 2) Cookware needs to be replaced, 3) No potholders, 4) Outdoor showers didn’t work, 5) The air conditioning on the top floor with the living room worked incredibly well, but the air conditioning on the floor with the four bedrooms didn’t work well at all.

We enjoyed our stay at the Argonauta. The views of the beach are amazing. The house is worth it just for the view. If your looking for an amazing view, easy beach access, a clean place..this is a great choice. It’s also in a great location that’s close to the grocery store and many restaurants. The house is also stocked with books, puzzles, games and much more. We tried to book again next year but our week was already booked. Hopefully we get to see the house again!
