AVKS33 Amaizin Blue #3-3

This is a wonderful spot and I highly recommend this house. Please don't be discouraged with the few things I want to address with the owners. First the good, replacement of the living room furniture is outstanding, very comfortable. The three new doors to the deck are a big improvement. On a side note, having a screen on the master bedroom slider is a must. Laying in bed at night listening to the waves is one reason why we rent oceanfront. Second the bad, as you know the house sits in a low area. With the 3"-5" of rain that came with the Noreaster the yard was flooded. Arriving late at night due to roads being closed there was no dry entry point. Our options were to wade through a foot of water or scale over the stairway railing with our baggage. Parking was dry at the drive entrance. Having dry entry to the house during flooded conditions is crucial. The water receded after 5 days. Coming and going with supplies during that time was unpleasant. I want all to know my situation is very uncommon. Please don't pass over this wonderful house. This is the only way I can communicate with the owner, would much preferred to send a private email. Jeff

Beautiful property, well designed, plenty of room for everyone. Furnishings are high quality, and the home is fully equipped... everything you could need or imagine. We didn't have the greatest weather, so it was great to be in a very comfortable home!

We had a group of 8 adults and had a wonderful time. Plenty of space and furniture and dining accommodations and views were perfect. Had fun playing ping pong but mostly enjoyed the multi level deck and ocean views. Plenty of outdoor comfortable deck furniture. Hot tub was good for 4 people. Outdoor shower and foot spigot very helpful. Living room easily accommodated all 8 of us comfortably for tv viewing. We didn’t want to leave.Thank you for a great time!

Was hesitant about all online rental process with no personal contact. But it all went just fine. Was able to drive to office to inform of one issue. Handled quickly! House was very, very nice. So well equipped. Because of beach and dune protection, accesses are fairly steep. But we managed. All in all, a very enjoyable vacation!

We have rented this house for several years now. I have been vacationing in the outer banks for 40 years and this is the most well appointed house I have ever rented. I am a cook and find that the kitchen is never lacking for anything. One of the most practical things is that if it rains you can still sit outside on the upper decks both in the front and back of the house as it is sheltered. The elevator sure comes in handy when you have 4 sisters ranging in ages from 62-70! I could go on and on but I think I've made my point--

Comfortable house for the 8 of us. Great location, sunrises over the ocean with coffee on the deck are memorable. We had good neighbors which added to our fun. If you're unlucky to get the queen bed in the southeast corner. Just remove the frame and put the boxspring on the floor and you'll be good to go. The shower in the master bedroom is impressive, excellent water pressure. May want to bring a few extra dish towels, only one was provided. All other linens were well stocked and clean. Have delt with other management companies, found Vacasa to be top tier, very professional and responsive. Thank you owners for sharing your beautiful beach house, will rebook.

Despite the strong winds and rough surf, the Outer Banks and this home just deliver. Appreciated the new hot tub, and the new screen porch doors. You can tell this house is looked after well! From ‘top hat’ ice cubes, to counter space and every possible tool, plate, accessory in a well labeled kitchen, we were wanting for nothing. One of the simple great aspects of this home is that it is adjacent the path to the water. The easy up and back from the beach to the house can’t be overstated. We were there during the impacts of Debby which with the high winds and rough surf did keep us in the the house more than last year, but the puzzles, ping pong, chess, hot tub and the TV (for watching the Olympics) were all well used amentities.

One of the best houses we have stayed in. Everything is labeled so there was no fumbling in the kitchen or locating the right fan or light switch. The house is very nicely furnished with great deck chairs. There are no down sides to this rental.

Thank you for the stay at your beautiful house. The proximity to the ocean was 2nd to none. The access to the beach was so close and perfect. The home was very clean and very well appointed and organized with labels for just about everything. This made finding things quite easy. The deck furniture was perfect.

What a great set up! The kitchen was extremely well stocked with quality cookware and dishes and the layout of the huge island was perfect. The ping pong table just off the kitchen/great room was such a nice benefit. All bedrooms were ample and while the mattresses weren't the best I've ever slept on, they were far from the worst. No sore back and neck like I've gotten in other homes. The extra fridge on the first floor and the ice maker in the kitchen made things very convenient. And you could not ask for a better view from literally every room. The hot tub was huge and clean and the cover was very easy to maneuver. It is a very family-friendly home, especially for those with small or multiple children. The one and only thing that bothered me was that we could not put the thermostat below 70 degrees. We sleep hot so we were quite uncomfortable some nights, even in November when nighttime temps were in the 40s-50s. On our last night we opened the sliding glass door to our bedroom and that helped but luckily we weren't staying another night because even with the screen the room was full of mosquitoes by morning. Vacasa left an ample amount of towels and the home was very clean. I appreciate that they provide linens even in the off season. I did have to call Vacasa to unclog a shower drain on our first day but they fixed it promptly and were very courteous. Check in and check out were super easy and we were even able to check in early at noon! Not having to strip beds, vacuum and take out trash like you have to do with some other realty companies definitely help with the check out process (although we did those things anyway just to help the cleaning crew.) I would definitely come back for another Fall stay at Amaizin Blue! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us!

Our family from the west coast, Arizona, Illinois, West Virginia came for a 2 week stay. It was perfect. Plenty of room, big kitchen, elevator for older folks needing help with stairs, an icemaker that never ran out of ice! Towels must have been upgraded because they were very nice. Views were spectacular! Very happy. We booked another 2 weeks in Oct of 2024.

Myself and my family really enjoyed our stay at Amaizin Blue. The kitchen was well equipped and the icemaker was a plus. Short walk to the beach and of course the view is 2nd to none. If I were to add suggestions, I would say please supply the house with a 12" non-stick skillet, as there are only very small ones there and the king bed on the middle floor is not comfy and leaning down on one side.

Party of 9: 4 parents, 25 yo daughter, two 16 yo girls, two 13 yo boys. A few minuses to be aware of: We were told via email that there were corn hole boards at the house so we did not bring our own. None were there. The hot tub was leaking, so we had to add water twice. I let Vacasa know and they made a note of it. Hopefully it is fixed. There were not enough hand towels or bath towels, we did ask for more and received them on day 2, but we now know to bring our own - quality was not particularly good. The second master bedroom was very disappointing for the second set of parents. As a cheaply made frame, they found it to be a very noisy bed - could not even turn over with out waking the other person up. So much so they took the mattress off the box spring and just put it on the floor for most of the week. The great stuff: The stand alone ice maker was a big plus we would have never looked for - we never knew we needed it in our OBX life until now! The deck chairs are ‘pub height’ which doesn’t seem like a big deal until you realize you are not looking through the railing at the beach, ocean, or sunrise! Those are must haves! Two of us had to log in to work for a few hours, Wi-Fi was seamless and plenty strong for webex meetings. The kitchen left us wanting for nothing - all the right utensils and small appliances. The Cuisinart air fryer was well used! We used the ping pong table extensively and was great to have. Being right next to the beach access trail was great. There was no temptation to walk over the dunes. It was nothing to run back to the house to grab something for the beach. It was not an ‘event’ to move stuff back and forth.

This house is a 10/10 must stay!!! We had two families of 2 kids each ranging in age from 5 to 8 and had truly ultimate vacation: 1) location ON beach…access to beach could not be any better/closer… 2) beautiful/updated house with spacious open kitchen/living room 3) very well labeled EVERYTHING 4) plenty of outside shower/cleaning after returning from beach 5) books/board games for kids (and adults) 6) just a beautiful property with great views of beach/ocean Our best stay at OBx ever…we can’t wait to come back next year!

Even though the weather was pretty poor for the week we still had a wonderful time as the house is so spacious and very well equipped for cooking etc. We have stayed here 5 of the last 6 years. Will definately return.

We loved this home! Vacasa was great to work with. This was our third year to the Outer Banks and this was the cleanest home we have been in. My sister broke her foot the week before we got there, since we had the elevator, she was able to get around easily. We loved being in the sand and so close to the water. This was also a great location for coffee, food, and shopping. We have already rebooked for next year.

We loved the oceanfront view, layout of the house, the elevator, very clean, well supplied, beds comfortable, TV in every room, outdoor furniture comfortable and we like that we could sit up high and see over the deck, the ping pong table. We would definitely stay here. Best house I have ever stayed. A pool would have been nice at the house but we enjoyed the community pool. Thank you!

Upgrades to one master bath Second full refrigerator Separate icemaker Good for ten adults Elevator use for checking in and out. Few negatives. Sorry to see after several seasons of renting with Hatteras Realty that recycling is no longer available. Environmentally unfriendly. We transported five days worth of plastic etc to Buxton.

We loved everything! Clean, pretty, well-stocked, gathering space and quiet space, loft for the kids tv and toys, beautiful views, ping pong table, hot tub, screen porch, gas grill, elevator, downstairs fridge. There was just everything right about this house and everyone loved it. Beautiful beach to see the fireworks. Groceries etc so nearby.

We had a lovely time in this rental home. The deck space was wonderful and gave everyone a little peace and quiet when needed. The inside main living area and upper deck were perfect for gathering. We spent of our time on the beach the access was one of the best we've been to, making trips to the beach easy!
