Description

Dixie Arrow is located ocean-side with direct boardwalk access to the beach on the quiet Oceanview Drive. The third floor has a large great room with ceiling fans and a brand-new (2024) kitchen with a breakfast bar. Sliding doors lead to a large, all-new (as of 2024) deck with an ocean view complete with deck furniture and a picnic table. The second floor features a bonus room for kids with a foosball table, a new stair tamer, a TV with front side A/V jack, a sofa bed, and a second fridge/freezer. A private deck exits the first floor to a private decked pool. The grill, fish cleaning station area, and showers are located in the under-house entry. Come relax and point your vacation to Dixie Arrow. Avon Fishing Pier is located 400 yards North and Club Hatteras is 400 yards West on route 12.

This house was perfect for our family of 10. I read reviews and was somewhat hesitant however, I took a leap of faith and ignored the previous comments and I was glad I did. Location was perfect! Access to the beach is diagonal from the home on the right which is a huge perk. The couches in the upstairs living room could be updated and the water pressure is eh but other than that everything was amazing! Kitchen had everything we needed and then some. Very pleased! I will definitely stay here again. Also, communication with VASCA was excellent as well. I will definitely recommend this spot. ☺️

Great property, awesome amenities. I cannot find any suggestions for improvement. It handled our 12 member family with ease. Appreciated the ample cookware and facilities. 100% excellent!

Proximity to the beach was fantastic with a walkway right in front of the house. Communication if needed with Vacasa* was no problem! All amenities were there as promised and everyone could not have been more friendly. There was no push to check out just the nice Reminders. we typically leave a early to get re-acclimated to work again! Looking forward to next year!

This house was great. The views of the ocean and sunrises were great. The open floor plan on the 3rd floor was a great hang out spot for food and cheer. The 3rd floor deck was a great touch to sit at in the morning and at night. The walk to the beach path was right across the street. Our families loved it here.

Overall house fit our needs. The recent upgrades were great and therefore house way exceeded the previous ratings. However, all furniture needs to be updated!

The layout and size was great. Location, very close to public access to fantastic beach. Fun small pool. Kitchen had new appliances. Not spotlessly clean but acceptable. Broken arm on chair. Ladder to pool completely broken off, but pool water was clean.

I rented this house in early June of 2024 with a bunch of friends, and we had an absolute banger of a time. I would reserve this house again without a doubt. The house offers 4 king and 8 twin beds (bunks) across 6 rooms with 5 and a half baths (not including two outdoor showers). The house also has a pool AND a hot tub and is situated in as a superb location (20 feet from the beach access, 3 minute drive to food lion, and within eye shot of a cash-only pizza joint). The kitchen and deck (+ outdoor chairs) are recently renovated and are very well equipped with pots/pans, tubberware, etc... The furniture and beds were very comfortable too. No matter what your party wants to do, Dixie Arrow can accommodate any guest's perfect beach vacation: hanging by the pool OR hot tub, spend the day at the beach, watch sunrise from bed, watch the sunset from bed, or any combination in between! Don't let the sour reviews from years ago scare you - they're the Karen types that complain about scratches on dressers as an indicator of time well-spent (there really aren't any issues with the furniture). Dixie arrow will allow you to spend time in a space designed for connecting and hangout with your loved ones with many fun amenities at your finger tips. Have fun!

This was our second stay here. We love the home and plan to come back next year. They have everything you need. It fits our family perfectly. They even had puzzles and toys for my grandchildren.
