Description

Everyone's raving about beautiful, soundside Irene's Dream! Located on a large, quiet corner lot in Kinnakeet Shores, this home is a five-minute walk from a beach access point and the community's pool and tennis courts. You'll also be conveniently close to a Food Lion and nearby restaurants in Avon. The circular drive, which has a basketball goal, accommodates parking for several cars. The first level of the house has a large game room with a wet bar, a full-size pool table, and a media area with a 60-inch 4K Ultra HDTV, surround sound, and an Xbox One. Also on the first level is a main suite with a king-size bed, a private full bathroom, and a 46-inch HDTV. From the game room, head out to the private, 36 x 14, in-ground heated pool with double showers and sundecks. Next to the pool area, which is also accessible by stairs from the upper deck levels, is a stainless gas grill for outdoor entertaining. Four bedrooms are located on the second level, with three of them offering individual access to the second-level deck and hot tub. One of the bedrooms has a king-size bed and a 40-inch HDTV, sharing a bathroom with another bedroom with two twin beds and a 32-inch HDTV. The third bedroom is a queen primary suite with a semi-private full bathroom, which is also accessible from the main hallway. The fourth bedroom on the second level contains two bunk beds, a 40-inch HDTV, and a DVD player. The full-size washer/dryer are also located on the second level. The third level opens into an expansive great room with cathedral ceilings, a half-bath, warm furnishings, a gas fireplace, a game table, and a 55-inch HDTV and DVD player. Also located on this level, within the open-concept design, are a well-equipped kitchen with a breakfast bar and a large dining area. The sixth bedroom - a primary suite with a private full bathroom - has access to the third-level deck and a 32-inch HDTV. From the great room, you can access the third-level deck overlooking the pool area as well as a wrap-around sundeck with views of the ocean and sound. From this deck, climb the stairs to the sun tower for beautiful sunrises on the ocean and spectacular sunsets on the sound. Loved this place. It was spacious, extremely well equipped, and comfortable. The pool area was great and with the trees surrounding it, very private. Shopping was close and convenient. The drive on beach was about 1/2 mile away. There was plenty of room for us, my 3 kids and their significant others, and my mother in law. We never used. The 6th bunk bed bedroom. Kitchen was very well outfitted. We had a great time and would definitely recommend Irene’s Dream

Especially enjoyed having a pool so accessible and it was very clean. After encountering blackflies one time and a jellyfish sting the kids much preferred staying at the pool. One thing not mentioned and was definitely a plus what the sheets and towels were included through Vacasa. Conveniently located very close to the Food Lion. We rented bikes and went back-and-forth would definitely rent again.

We just had a fantastic week at Irene's Dream! The house was amazing, just a quick walk to the beach. The full sized pool was glorious and comfortable for a large group to enjoy.

This was our second year staying at Irene’s Dream and it was another great time! The updated pool deck was beautiful. Perfect spot for a larger family with a private pool and super convenient to shopping, beach and restaurants.

The house was perfect for a family vacation. It's a hidden gem in Avon. The kitchen was stocked with cooking supplies, pool and decks were absolutely beautiful, gameroom was a big hit for our teens! Would recommend it to anyone looking for a house with lots of ammenities and a short walk to the beach and shoppping. Although, would not recommend renting it on vacasa unless you have to ~ they were not helpful what so ever nor did they try to be helpful in the beginning of our stay when we needed assistance ~ which was very discouraging. Otherwise, it was a perfect vacation. Thank you Irene's Dream for hosting us!

This house was perfect for our entire family! We loved the proximity to the beach, stores and restaurants. Rooms were great sizes with each room having a dresser or places to put belongings and each room, besides the bunk bed room was connected to a bathroom. Kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans and dishes, bring foil/cling wrap for leftovers not much Tupperware. Some of the silverware and dishes needed to be re-washed but that was something we expected since it's the guests responsibility. The house was pretty spacious. Large room with pool table on the first level. We especially loved having a pool in the back. I give 4 stars here since the decks are all made of wood there were a lot of areas where there is wood that is lifted and a lot of nails sticking out. Not the safest for little kids but did the job while we were there, it’s definitely a bonus to have a pool.

The first floor has a nice size "game room" with a pool table, own little mini kitchen. Second floor is bedrooms, there is only 2 bathrooms to share amongst the 4 bedrooms though which makes it a little difficult with a full house. Third floor is the kitchen/living room with a bedroom and bathroom as well. Hot tub and pool are a great size and were very nice and clean.

We’ve been staying in kinnakeet shores for the last 5 years and and this was our favorite house so far . It was very clean, the pool was a nice size and the layout of the house was great too. We can’t wait to come back!

Irene’s Dream is well laid out and very comfortable for a large group of adults and kids. Well stocked kitchen, family room has extra fridge and dishwasher and pool table. House was clean and an easy short walk to beach.

The house was great for our family. We had family from out of the country and wanted to give them the American beach week experience. The walk to the beach was easy and straightforward. The pool size was great for our large group.
