This house is well stocked, rooms are great, kids bunk is very sturdy, the downstairs tv is the only one that has any streaming, so be sure to bring a Roku or something for any of the other tvs, they do not have Netflix as advertised even on the cable channels (I know some have that option). The pool is shallow so great for kids, the hot tub is nice. A big downfall is that they do not have a short step set in the front of the house to get to the elevator. They need to take out a bush or two and put some steps in the back entrance other than the carport. We overall really enjoyed this house.

I've been coming to the OBX with my family for 30 years. This is BY FAR the best place I've ever stayed. From check in to check out, everything was absolutely fantastic! Tvs in every room, game room, pool, hot tub. All were in great repair the entire time! Put in a work order for a clogged dishwasher, they immediately came out and fixed it. Such a great vacation experience!!!

We had a wonderful stay! This property is great for families who need ensuite bathrooms for several adults. The check in and out process were both simple and painless. Our family really enjoyed the pool and the downstairs gaming area--both were excellent for the teens and children in our party. The property itself is located near several beach accesses and there's a quick walking trail to the sound behind the property. Don't skip out on the trail to the sound because it is a lovely little path to a very serene, sandy beach area. If you're looking for relaxation and a more quiet location, this is a great pick.

We really enjoyed our stay at Fly Away! It has everything you could want and even things you did not know you did! The owners have really thought of every single detail to make this home perfect. From plenty of hooks, well organized and appointed kitchen to labels throughout. It is all there! We plan to return! So beautiful, comfortable and right near the sound beach access.

Had plenty of room for our large group. Elevator was essential for my disabled mother, and became useful for me after i was injured during the trip. The elevator does not go to the ground level. The first flor is up 6 steps from the bck of the house. Was manageable for both my mom and i. The third floor master bed and bath are well suited for handicapped access. Beautiful, fully furnished ouse near Food Lion. What more could one want!

Beautiful home with plenty of space, accommodations, and ameneties to entertain our large extended family. The elevator was a lifesaver for my disabled mom, and myself when I was injured on our vacation. Wish the elevator went to the ground, but that's probably not possible for any similar home in this area.

This house comes fully stocked with everything you could possibly need to feel like you are at home. The linens are a great touch with the beds being made when you arrive. We have no complaints for our two week stay two years in a row.

This house was perfect in so many ways for our family vacay! Each bedroom had its own bathroom. The hot tub, pool and game room were a huge hit for everyone young and old. The elevator was greatly appreciated by the older folks. The kitchen was well stocked from a quesadilla maker to a waffle bowl maker and every appliance and dish needed for cooking! Access to the sound was steps away. My family wanted to stay another week. Vacasa was very easy to contact and answer questions via text. Easy check-in and check-out. Thank you to the owners and Vacasa for allowing us to use your beautiful getaway home!

The home was beautifully furnished and decorated. We had the perfect amount of space for us to gather together and space for privacy. There was plenty to entertain us at the house and Avon is awesome. We plan to return. We didn't have enough time to enjoy everything. A week goes way too fast.

Although this house is non sound front or ocean front, it was one of the best houses we have ever stayed at in over 30 years of going to Hatteras Island. So well-appointed and comfortable. The layout is perfect. Will definitely stay here again.

My family enjoyed the many different places to gather -- the children played in the game room and used the theatre; the adults loved the living room and the decks. We all liked access to the Sound via the walkway. In addition, the house was well-appointed and well-maintained -- one of the best we`ve ever rented! We all would like to come here again. This hone was everything our family could have dreamed of and more. We have been coming for 25 years and for last 15 years of so have been oceanfront. My children range from 36 to 40 now and with grandchildren this was just the perfect fit for our family. The pool area was spectacular and all the men (and granddaughter) were kayaking and fishing daily. The whole family enjoyed paddle boarding. Every amenity fit the bill for us. Already booked for next year. As I was told when we first booked for this year, I wouldn`t want to leave. And that is exactly what happened. Wonderful vacation for our family.
