Enjoy grassy rigging, board racks, sail storage, outdoor showers, a dressing room, and an unsurpassed windsurfer's launch with wind exposure to die for. Filet your freshly caught fish at Yalcrab's new fish-cleaning station. The 50-foot sound-front deck offers spectacular 'liquid sky' sunsets. A large wrap-around deck and a covered porch keep you protected from the elements. An expanded mid-level deck has a six-person hot tub, where you can relax and watch more sunsets. Updates for 2024 include all brand-new kitchen appliances. The entry level includes a large bedroom with a queen-size bed, a futon, a flatscreen TV, a DVD player, and a full bath - it's a great, private area. On the main level, Yalcrab is all eyes to the water. Lofty cathedral ceilings, stylish and comfortable furniture, and an entertainment center will keep your guests happy during those rare indoor moments. The large kitchen, completely outfitted with updated high-end appliances, includes a breakfast bar and a dining area to inspire the designated home chef. Two bedrooms on the main level have access to a hallway bathroom, while the master has a private bathroom. Biking and walking in quiet downtown Avon are a Hatteras favorite. Deep water windsurfing and foiling is good. The launching is a bit of a challenge as one needs to come down the step. Not much of water front ground for equipment and storage is challenged. The carport is useful. All is good for the week minnus some inconsistencies.

The Yalcrab is an amazing place. Great location, breathtaking sunset views. Perfect for what we needed for our stay.

We absolutely loved staying here. The rooms were spacious and very family friendly. The new kitchen appliances were great to use. We loved sitting in the hot tub during sunsets. Definitely a trip to remember!

I absolutely loved this house. The view is breathtaking to say the least. Watched my first sunset over the ocean from the hot tub on the deck. We will definitely stay here again no question.

This location was great for our needs~ it was a 2 minute drive to the Pier for fishing. The beach access points were close along with our favorite restaurants. The grocery store was closer than last year when we stayed in Salvo. We had a great time, loved the view from both levels of decking & the hot tub & the owner was great to work with!

This was our first house rental on the sound. Nice quiet neighborhood. Kids loved learning to fish on the dock. Views were spectacular. The sound is shallow so we could play in the water.
