Fly high with beautiful TERN INN! This fabulous vacation home is located on a quiet oceanside street that has a superb beach front access and is only a few minutes walk from the Avon Pier and the pool at Club Hatteras.

Bed Sizes: 2 Queens, 1 Twin Bunk, 1 Full

The ground level has plenty of concrete parking, carport, locking storage, 2 outside showers, and fish prep area. The 1st entry level has a half bath and laundry nook. The living level has cathedral ceilings, warm wood accents, and quality furnishings to make all guests feel right at home. The living area flows into the dining area and out to the screened porch and sundeck.

The kitchen with breakfast bar is a great place to gather for a libation or tall tale before the serious eating begins. A good bedroom and full bath complete the picture. Upstairs two bedrooms and a bath have access to the wonderful airy loft.A hint: Break out the tanning oil for the 2nd story sundeck .... it's for the sun birds.

The stair tamer is not for guest use. No Smoking or Vaping. Please note: Guests have access to the Club Hatteras Pool Facility. Additional details around this facility will be shared in your check-in email and during the check-in process.

We have been coming to the Outer Banks for many years and have stayed at a number of places, but Tern Inn is our favorite. We love Avon and the location of this home. It is sized perfectly for our needs and has everything we need. It is very reasonably priced and close to the beach.

Term Inn was truly a wonderful stay!! Has just about everything you could ask for in a beach home. At the end of a quiet road; short walk to a beautiful beach. Plenty of shops, restaurants and grocery store all within a short drive. Hope to return again in the future for another great stay!! Thank you for everything!

Large common space, kitchen very well equipped, very clean, beds made before arrival, had a complete starter kit, and we really appreciated the no stress arrival.

Great Value!
This house was perfect for our group of 7. It is charming, and has a ton of deck space, screened in porch, etc. The location is great, and it is private with trees all around. The kitchen was well stocked, and everything worked very well. I'd stay here again, for sure!

It's a beautiful place, and for those with mobility issues, you still love it! The one set of steps you do climb has handrails on both sides, and even one on the turn. There's a stairlift on an outside set of stairs to the main level, but we honestly did not try it. Four different deck areas, one is screened!

Loved the top deck at sunset and mid level screen porch was so enjoyable. We also walked to the beach every day, not far at all. Loved having 2 outdoor showers. Overall, a beautiful home!

Wonderful Beachhouse
Wonderful beachhouse! A short walk to the beach with everything you need. Loved the screened in porch, deck space, two outdoor showers, and open kitchen/living area. The five of us had plenty of space to enjoy each others company and escape to the houses multiple venues to read, watch movies, play board games, and chat. Highly recommended!
