Hatteras Realty was top-notch. The top floor has a full kitchen and a counter bar top with 4 stools, the master suite bedroom with the large walk-in slate shower and two sliding glass doors out to the hot tub on the 90 deck area. You can see the Atlantic ocean over the treetops across Highway 12 in the distance. The second floor has a full bath and two bedrooms - each with a TV. One bedroom has two beds and the other has one bed. The first floor has a small kitchen and full bath and a bedroom with three beds in it, along with a small dining room table. I was not thrilled that you go past a small trailer park to get to this home and that there’s no sidewalk along Highway 12 once you exit Rocky Rollinson Rd for .6 mile jaunt up to the entrance road to the lighthouse National Park and beach areas. There are however other very nice homes on the bay to the other side of this home. We rented 3 bikes in advance to use because VayKLife offered a 75 expiring credit in advance, but this ended up being 188 down the drain.You can drive a four-wheel-drive onto the various beach ramp areas, but this is not for the meek. We did that a couple of days after paying the 50 NP recreational fee, and other days we went drove the 7.5 miles down to Frisco Beach and walked out to the beach from the parking lot there. The mosquitoes are quite bad around the house, but don’t make it to the upper levels. The hammock had a big hole in it and was unusable, but we had no interest due to mosquitoes.

Great place to stay, we had a nice breeze on the top deck while we were there. Hot tub was newer and very clean. I plan to stay here again!

House was very nice had a great view and breeze from the top deck, the location of the property was nice, hot tube was spotless, house was fairly clean but could use a deep cleaning. Kitchen was stocked pretty good as far as utensils, pots, and pans. Over a great place and would stay again!

This is a wonderful vacation home. Tucked away in the trees helped it feel more secluded, though you could see a few homes from the top floor. The ocean was even visible in the distance. We enjoyed the hot tub at night and looking up to see all the stars. There were really only two relatively minor things that I didn't care for. First off, there is no good dining room table. There is a small table on the bottom floor, but that's two floors below the kitchen, and not very big. There was a nice small table on the deck for two that we enjoyed using for several meals. Also, the upstairs bedroom was missing a curtain over the sliding glass door (looked like there once was one there) and the sun came right in that door onto the bed in the morning (in September anyway). Even if that is fixed, the curtains at the head of the bed are as shown in the photos with thin white material. I guess that is great if you are a morning person, and presumably many people are as I see similar things in many other rental homes. But for me, I'd rather have a nice dark bedroom so I can sleep in while on vacation. The other bedrooms were all fine with darker window coverings. We didn't need all the bedrooms for our trip, so that room was left unoccupied. We enjoyed another of the bedrooms and it had a very comfortable mattress. If those things are not a problem for you, I would highly recommend this house, we had a wonderful stay! I definitely didn't want to go back home...

This is a great place. Great location. Just 2min from the corner grocery store that has pretty much everything youll need. And ony 5min to the entrances of the ORV ramps to the beaches. Well maintanced and clean. The only really small complaint i would have is that it doesnt offer a grill for those who like to grill. Either than that. 10/10 I would recommend.

The home is in the heart of Buxton, we couldn’t ask for a better location. Views were great. Few hiccups, however over all we had a good experience.
