This is a beautiful location, and a good-old-fashioned Hatteras beach house, in the best of ways. The price was so reasonable, and the layout of the house was welcoming and convenient-- efficient, well-appointed, and enjoyable. I'm hoping we get a chance to go back there sometime soon.

Highly recommend this company for booking. They were very accommodating and helpful. Our beach house was everything they said it was. This location was such a quick skip to the ocean and it was so peaceful.

This place is a great location in Buxton… just steps to the beach. You can walk to a few restaurants and shops. It is a nice size for a family of 4. The beds are decent for a beach rental. Some minor updates would go a long way at the house. No hose by the steps means a lot of sand coming up the steps. No ceiling fans. Noisy appliances. The bathroom window slams shut- so be careful. You’ll need to open it because there isn’t a bathroom fan. The outside shower does not have a door which is an interesting choice for a duplex. There is a washer/dryer to share with the other unit. The house was clean. Check-in was easy with the key code. No basic necessities like salt/pepper, coffee filters, foil. Sheets and shower towels provided. Bring extra pillows and blankets. Keep your expectations realistic, spend your time on the beach and exploring the local towns, and this is the place for you!

The house was older and seemed “pieced” together, but very clean and the staff is quick to help with any issues. We would come back. Love how it is just steps from the ocean!

This was a nice little place to stay. Decent ocean views. Nice cozy porch. Beds were comfy. Lighting was good except no lights in the living room. Quiet neighborhood. We went off season and it was great.

The proximity to the beach was amazing. There were also beach toys,and chairs to share. The house was clean and great for what we needed. A few things needs some maintinence such as the dishwasher( the detergent cap wouldn’t stay shut) and the front door lock but other than that it was really great

Beautiful house but too many stepts if you have a bad back and like I do. Lovely view of the ocean and very clean! They have all you need to cook dinner after a day on the beach and lots of restaurants and fun things to do

nice older 2bdrm unit. great deck to watch the sunrise over the ocean. unfortunately absolutely no beach to sit on - NEast storm took that out two weeks ago... but still. great little place. we'll be back.

Quaint little place, just steps from the ocean. Spectacular sunrise views from the front porch. Furnishings were older and a little worn, but who cares!!! Great little beach place. Take your own hand soap and toiletries and you’ll be fine. I loved that linens were provided!!! The washer and dryer was a bonus. I left a wine bottle opener there for future guests. Enjoy!!!

We really enjoyed our stay at this condo. Amazing ocean views and beautiful sunrises right from the deck. Not ocean front but the next best thing to it. Very short walk to the beach that is very private and clean. We look forward to staying here again on our next vacation.

This rental home is only a few steps away from the beach. We really love it. The view to the open ocean is amazing. This home is spacious and it is equipped with everything to spend a long vacation. I would ask to improve in cleanliness. It needs a serious deep cleaning. In addition, we arrived and there were no clean towels, they were delivered on the next day, but by then we had to go out to buy a couple of them. Lastly, there was a plastic box with dirty linen and towels sitting in our porch. It seems from the guest prior to us.

I loved this place! 30 sec walk to the most quiet, pretty beach & the condo had awesome AC, hot water, was clean & no bugs. Super good cable too which was nice for on demand movies at night. Kitchen had what you needed- dishwasher too. Comfy for 4 people & dog no problem. Outdoor shower was great! We had a great time! Buxton has a couple restaurants & shops but Avon & hattaras are 10-15 min, so plenty to do. Highly recommend & would definitely stay here again!

This spot is amazing! Condo is a 30 sec walk to the most chill, quiet beach. Only other vacationers or folks from the homes right there. Condo is slightly dated, but they have great cable (in den & one bedroom), amazing AC, amazing water heater, no bugs, & outdoor shower was super convenient. Kitchen had enough to get by, coffee maker/toaster good, no ice maker so bring a bunch of ice trays & you’ll be good for beach coolers. I loved Buxton & this property. The view is obstructed, but I knew that going in & there’s plenty of ocean to see on each side of the house in front of you, & you can hear the ocean all the time. For sure, it’s what you see is what you get, which for us was perfect!

Me, my wife and our G.Dane stayed here for a week. The location is awesome, not beachfront but as close as you can get. The front porch gives you views and the sound of the ocean. Area is quiet, relaxing and family & pet friendly. Interior could use some updating and some minor work, but overall would definitely stay here again.
