Great place. plenty of room for everyone, elevator worked well and the home was clean. The large steps in the pool worked well for young children to play on.

As expected the week was super, the weather cooperated, the evening dusks were beyond words and by the way one of the reasons that make Croatian Ridge so special along with the memoir past stays there that are so precious to us. The house was immaculate as usual, the house staff are top drawer for sure. I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention the pool volleyball it was great everyone got involved although I refereed more than I used to. Again thanks so much for opening the house to us. Angelo N

We had stayed there before and loved it, this year we brought down 2 jet ski’s for the boys 6 grand sons and the dads took turns as well. The weather was ideal and as always the home was perfect. I’d like to thank the owner of the home opening it up to us and the three generations that were able to enjoy a super week on the sound.

Our 3 generation family of 20 had a fabulous time at this house. The kitchen was large and double everything was a huge bonus. The kids had a blast in the pool and playing in the house. The large family room sat the whole family comfortably. Would definitely recommend.

This property had everything you could possibly need and more! Our family/friends were completely comfortable. The house had dishes, silverware, etc. massive kitchen, amazing views. We will be staying here again.

Amazing house, amazing vacation! Pool was massive. Sound was great (only about 1.5 ft deep max). Views were the best. Elevator made the massive house more accessible. Only downside was how far out of "civilization" you are. If it wasn't so expensive, we would be back every year!

We walked into paradise ! What a beautiful home located near so much, yet set apart for privacy ! We had a glitch along the stay with hot water but was corrected by Thursday and we had two other floors that our guests could use for showers until then . We would definitely recommend this home for a family get away , everyone had space and the grounds are breathtaking. We had little ones so the hot tub area , although unable to heat the pool or tub because of weather Vacasa staff said , was perfect spot for them to play and have fun . And the weather was spectacular as a final touch ! Thank you !

This is a lovely, very functional and well-equipped 'cottage' (a term which is an understatement for something more like a mansion). The vistas are tremendous. The pictures of the place are good but do not do it justice. It was intelligently designed and well-executed. Vacasa provides service to match the quality of Croatan Ridge 940; it is solid. Good restaurants and a very nice supermarket are almost within walking distance. Our family stayed there for Thanksgiving 2023 so I can't comment on the pool, the hot tub or the Sound itself, but all else was great. The best place we have ever stayed, and there have been many.

The early mornings began with me enjoying a hot cup of coffee from what became my favorite spot--a large chair and ottoman that is positioned in direct view of the bright and constant shining beam from Hatteras Lighthouse. The lighthouse can be visited via a quick five minute drive or 30 minute walk to it. The main highway to the National Park can be quite busy, so the drive might be a better choice. Take in as much of the park as you can, including the caretaker homes, etc. There is something quite restful about the behemoth edifice. I wish it were open to tour. The beach is easily accessed and affords some nice walks or swims / surfing, and occasionally some excellent sea shell collecting. Stop at Conner Grocery on the way back to Croatan Ridge and check out what they have in stock. Meanwhile, back at Croatan Ridge, the large pool and hot tub were occupied many hours of our day. Much needed, the long conversations captured six or more from our party. Those not in the water sat eavesdropping from one of the numerous loungers surrounding the pool. (We used the outdoor sound system some, but be sure to read up on the details, and work out what you don't understand. It took us a little time, but music at the pool is wonderful). We also utilized the outdoor bar area to deliver refreshments and afternoon appetizers. Some moved on to enjoy kayaking in the sound. You can go and go until you have had your fill. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed, including the the commercial grade coffee pot. The large dinner table allowed us all to sit together. The kitchen island handled our many buffet style servings. The bar in the center of the house has all of the space you need to serve appetizers and whatever beverages you might be pairing with your food. Both adult and young people will enjoy the cupola (we called it the "crows nest") and some foosball or board games or cards. We did all of the above as well as viewing some college football. We had no complaints from our fellow travelers in regards to the beds. The few issues we had were in a few mechanical items not working properly (but had additional options available). We stayed in the 4th level en-suite and loved it. The bed was excellent, and had the right firmness for us (not spongy). I would recommend some guests be "point people" to understand where all of the exterior light switches are. Pay specific attention to the pool restroom light swtiches. Some turn on exterior lighting, and you need to turn them off at night. There are many such things to pay attention to in this big, beautiful house. Our traveling companions would definitely return to this house again. There is more to do in the area than we actually did. This was a real surprise in this area of the OBX, and our first stay, south of Avon. We hope to return, possibly next summer.

House is beautiful. Plenty of space for multiple families. The pool is amazing and is great for little kids in the super shallow area. The views are breath-taking. The water is super shallow in front of the house but we could still get our boat to the dock. We brought our SUP boards and went all over the sound in them. The kitchen had all the pots, pans, plates, bowls and everything you could ever need. Having 2 of everything in the kitchen was amazing and time-saving. There were a few issues. (1) The Keurig did not work; (2) the hot water heater needs to be turned up. I know safety issues for kids it needs to be set at 120 degrees or under, but the hot water was barely hot; (3) instructions for working the tv. If you don't turn on the sound (big black box) it wont work...took us a day to figure that one out. I replaced the batteries in the remote in the main (4th floor) master because they were dead. All in all our families would definitely stay there again!

We absolutely loved the location of LV2KITE. Being right on the water and able to wake up and see the sound from in bed was amazing. The pool was great and watching the sunset from the hot tub was beautiful! We caught lots of fish right in our backyard. We loved this property and are thinking about renting it again next summer. Perfect for us affordable and beach front! Pet friendly neat and clean. They had beach gear for us and a well stocked kitchen needs! We felt right at home! We absolutely loved this home! We enjoyed the amazing views from the covered deck area each morning and evening. The home is designed with comfort in mind and the kitchen is stocked with everything you could possibly need. It`s a quick walk to the pier on the sound and our kids enjoyed putting their kayaks in at the dock right in the neighborhood. The beach is also very close to this home. I greatly appreciated the owner of the home calling to make sure everything was satisfactory while we were there. We have been coming to Outer Banks/Hatteras Island area for over 10 years and I would honestly say that this house was my favorite hands down! We loved it so much! What a fantastic house. The views and the bedrooms, kitchen, all were amazing! We already have booked for next year. Been coming 25 years and one of the nicest houses we have stayed in. Was hard leaving...,Have never had a problem staying with Outer Beaches Realty.
