BXTB46 Beach Dreamer #4-BB

I will start this review by saying how nice the lady was in Avon at the check in and picking up the keys. The entire stay was like that. We were there when the homes fell on Tower Circle and they were quick to relocate us when the county shut the water off. I couldn't ask for a better company to do business with. Now let's talk about the Beach Dreamer!! This house was so clean and cozy. Well appointed with everything you could possibly need. I can say this is potentially the best rental home I've stayed in over the last several years up and down the east coast. Don't let the exterior worry you. All the homes in Buxton are weathered from the consistent harsh elements. I would for sure stay here again! Thank you Vacasa!!

We loved every minute of this trip, and the home was my kids favorite place to be! You can tell the owners took their time to make this a beautiful, enjoyable visit for out of town guests! Would highly recommend!

This house was in perfect for our stay! The A/C was amazing, it was super hot during our stay, so coming home to a comfy and cool house was perfect! I would 100% stay here again! Great location! Don’t sleep on the pizzeria a block away, their food was amazing!

This was a better than expected experience. The house was very clean and so close to the beach. We brought our 12 year old for her birthday with her friends. The house was perfect for what we needed and they could walk to the beach. The only concern (which can not be helped) is that the beach was mostly eroded right at the beach access. The water came up to the beachfront houses. However, we just walked down 2-3 houses and there was plenty of room to lay out, etc.

Always a quiet get away near our favorite fishing hole. To be honest, we were barely at the house but it was our home away from home.

We try to get to Buxton to fish as a group as often as possible. This house is close to everything we needed. Looking forward to our next trip.

Pros: House is awesome. Super clean and bright and cheery decorating . Well stocked kitchen. Extra beach chairs, small cooler and sand toys provided. Even a corn hole set. Zero issues with parking area. Beds could be better but we’re acceptable. Plenty of additional blankets provided. Cons: We had an issue with a leak with toilet in small bathroom. Contacted Vacasa however no one ever showed up. Poor communication regarding repair. We eventually just canceled request for repair and dealt with it as we didn’t want to be relaxing and have a repair man pop in any time during our trip, especially with the bathroom. I know I saw a Vacasa repair man at the end of the street but he just left because I don’t think he didn’t want to deal with flooded street. In my book is unacceptable for the price charged. Also as mentioned, street was completely flooded and I mean a foot deep in some places for 90% of our trip. The street is in such disrepair with HUGE potholes! Had a drive our cars out which caused a tire to go flat even though we drove super slow. Ridiculous. We had to end up parking up at the end of our street which is a a big inconvenience to 6 adults with 3 cars to say the least. Lastly, no lighting on stairs leading up to house door. One light was actually there but it kept flickering on and off which almost blinded you going up it down old wood stairs-UNSAFE! I know this issue was mentioned in previous reviews but has yet to be fixed. Really? Maybe a $30 fix! Especially for safety reasons should have been taken care of asap. Overall the house itself is great despite a few things that should be an easy fix. I would rent house again but would cross my fingers for no flooding on street.

Everything. the spaciousness, the cleanliness, and everything that makes this wonderful place a home away from home. The furnishings, appliances, and everything else were top notch and the sunny space was incredibly comfortable.

We have stayed in Beach Dreamer a couple of times and have always enjoyed it. It was a real treat to have the beds already made up for us upon arrival. Excellent cleaning crew.

Loved the location, esp to the beautiful ocean. Everything is as advertised from the pictures online. Buxton had everything we needed for the week. The only recommendation is bring a truck because the road to the house isn’t really car friendly.

This house was perfect for me, my husband and 9 month old daughter. They even had a keurig - we’re kcup users and brought our keurig in case. We only have 2 complaints 1) the stairs leading up to the deck feel like they need to be replaced - they’re a bit wobbly. 2) the door isn’t the easiest to unlock but we did get the hang of it. Other than that, it was quite perfect and an easy walk to the beach.

This is the cleanest house we have ever been in. Beautifully, but comfortably decorated and filled with every kitchen gadget or appliance you could ever need. The short walk to the beach was fantastic and you could see the ocean from two points. We loved sitting on the deck watching the sun come up and go down. We definitely want to return to the perfect Beach Dream (er). Thank you for sharing your lovely home. My husband says its first class!

The house was very clean and roomy. The kitchen was equipped with almost everything you need. We were even gifted a few trash bags, a small bottle of dish soap, dishwasher powder, laundry powder, and a sponge. The only negative was the coffee maker was broken, which is a very small inconvenience. Will definitely consider staying here in the future!

We were very pleased with the house contrary to what we we were told there is a fish cleaning table, faucet, and hose outside. It is one of the best we have stayed at. My only negative is not the house, but the road it is on. There was recent flooding and the road is in terrible shape. It is also my understanding the the road often floods and this could make it difficult to access the home. Definitely need some flood mitigation and road repair.
