Not only is Hatteras Island a favorite location for kayaking and SUP, but it's also one of the most sought-after destinations in the world for kiteboarding and windsurfing! When entering the home, you'll find the game room equipped with a pool table, TV, stereo, and mini-fridge. Challenge friends to a game of pool or other games after a day in the sun. You'll also find a bedroom and half bathroom on this level. As you reach the next level of the home, you'll find the remaining four bedrooms. Four bedrooms have TVs, so choosing your bedroom will not be hard. Two bedrooms have direct deck access so grab you can wake up to the serenity of the Island as you are surrounded by nature. You won't want to miss a sunset from this spot - they're unbeatable! After reaching the third floor of the home, you'll notice the open floor plan. The spacious living areas offer plenty of seating for your whole crew. Take advantage of quality time together here. This property presented some of the best photo opportunities during the evening hours, as the sun would set over the sound making future Christmas cards the perfect opportunity.

We loved our stay! The kitchen is on the 3rd floor - pack your coolers accordingly. The view from the dining and living room area is just GORGEOUS - worth the hike. Not a house for people with knee or ankle issues - the stairs will be climbed several times a day. The good news is, your calves and buns will be looking pumped. 😎 The house is so clean and well situated with great neighbors. The dock is beautiful and easy to use to get out on the sound for fishing. The bedrooms were well set up and the hot tub was great! Easy walk on access across the street to the beach. We drove 10 min to the ramps to drive on. Lots of options. You’ll love your stay!

We had a great vacation! The home was perfect, plenty of room and the kitchen had everything you need to prepare meals! The boys loved the dock, fished everyday and was always catching fish! The pool table downstairs providing a lot of entertainment and all the board games were a big hit with the kids!! I would recommend an umbrella for shade on the back deck facing water! Over all we had one of the best vacations here! Thank you!

This house was huge for my husband myself and our two small children but yet we still felt cozy and comfortable. Watching the marsh birds and osprey hunt right from the back porch was awesome. The house gives a relaxing laid back vibe… Even though right on the main road 12 you would never know it from quiet back porch. Overall we definitely enjoyed our stay and would rent again!

Great location for accessing ramp 49. Also centrally located between Buxton and Hatteras access ramps. Comfortable living area. Nice kitchen layout. Beautiful sunset views over the sound. Love the boardwalk to the sound!

We stayed here for my friend’s bachelor trip. It was the perfect place for fishing, being right on the water (bay side). The hottub and pool table were nice to have because it rained all day one of the days we were there, gave us something fun to do. One thing about the place that wasn’t really a problem for a bunch of 25 years old guys, but probably would be for older or handicapped people, was the amount of stairs. This place is like 4 stories high, so there’s a lot of stairs, just keep that in mind. If you stay here eat at POP’s bar, it was the best food we ate, by far! This place has lots of kitchen stuff if you like to cook though, they have you covered in that department! All and all we liked the place, it was perfect for 8 guys that wanted to do some kayak fishing and relax for a weekend.

Way more than what we needed for just the two of us, but the price, location, and home was perfect to celebrate and relax after our wedding. Right on the sound side with dock access we paddled from several times, walking distance from the ocean (just across the street), gorgeous views, hot tub with awesome views of the sound perfect after a long day of kiteboarding, and the kitchen had everything you could want to cook a nice meal. highly recommend, only downside is the beds were a little hard, I slept great but my husband wanted something a little softer.

Amazing sunsets!! Great location for Hatteras. Spacious for large families. Living and bedroom areas spread throughout 4 levels , large kitchen with all the things. Hot tub was wonderful after a long day. Would definitely recommend.

Location! Location! Location! 5 minute walk to beach and kayaking in the sound out the back door made for the most memorable family vacation.

This home was great and a prime location for ramp 49. Beautiful sound side views! The only qualms we had ourselves was the direct communication with Vacasa. The home advertises wifi; however there was no wifi connection the entire week we were there and there was no communication about if we would gain it through vacasa or outerbeaches realty for multiple days. Ultimately the issue was never resolved. The check out was also confusing because Vacasa was sending instructions via email and the home itself had instructions printed and laid on the counter for us. The check out instructions from Vacasa stated 10 am check out, but the printed instructions stated 8 am and when the day came to check out we receive a text at 5:30 pm from Vacasa asking if we were ready to check out. In all, the customer service was not handled to our standards and hope they are working to improve as they move forward.
