Welcome to Dreamcatcher! Where you can enjoy vast panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean, Pamlico Sound, Cape Point, and the Hatteras Lighthouse. On the inside, you'll find all the comforts of home. We have hardwood oak floors throughout. A completely remodeled kitchen with island, farmhouse sink, and gas range. All new furnishings. And a primary suite with marble walk-in shower and soaking tub. Fresh linens and towels are always provided. Not to mention, just beyond the dune is the most sought-after beach access on the island. Our south-facing surf is the final destination for the clear blue waters of the Gulf Stream. You will find the ocean temperature noticeably warmer than beaches north of the point. This house was great! The location is the best! It is only 2 houses away from beach access and the entire north view is a natural area overlooking the ocean. It is on the northernmost street of a handful of streets that make up a residential area. So, as you come on to the beach, to the south there are other houses and people. But to the north there is nothing but natural dunes and beauty! There is a very small airport in that area to the north of the house and over the week we saw about 5 small jets come and go. Not bothersome at all! Very interesting actually. Bedrooms were good-sized and bathrooms nice. They had one set of towels (2 bath, 2 hand, 1 face) per person which was adequate. They are typical, white hotel towels. The quality could be improved upon but they did the job. Decks were nice and hot tub was awesome! Because of that natural area to the north, you have a real sense of privacy when on the decks. There's also a handy faucet on the lowest level, beside the stairs, to wash the sand off your feet which is nice. There is an outdoor area for cleaning fish, as well, under the house. They did have 4 beach chairs to use. No umbrella, so bring your own. This is my first time in OBX when I've stayed outside of the Nags Head/Kill Devil Hills area and I will not be heading back there again! For an extra 1.25 hours of drive time over incredible and beautiful scenery I can get to the Frisco/Buxton area and have an entirely different experience than I'd had in visits before. So much natural beauty and quiet beaches. This house will be a favorite of mine to rent for as many years as they rent it!!

We loved the proximity of this home to the beach and the green space to the immediate north of the property. It's rare to have so much green space next a home in the OBX. It provided for such a distinct vibe as compared to most other locations on the island. The house itself was spacious, clean, and well stocked with kitchen appliances and utensils. The living area furniture was upscale and comfortable. The multiple decks and views were fantastic. Wifi was very good in the home. We would definitely recommend this house and plan to return.

The home was very clean and well-stocked. The views were wonderful. The nearby airport was barely noticeable, as there was little traffic during our stay in July.
