Absolutely amazing place, It is in a community but really private, quiet, with excellent sites. The house was really clean and everything was perfect. I will definitely be looking to stay here again.

Beautiful house and perfect location to disconnect from everyday life and stress. No need to use the TV or nice selection of DVDs. The changing colors of the sky and amazing views were our screen. Very well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds. All fine.

Location is everything and this home had views for as far as your eyes can see. The sunrises and sunsets were amazing 🤩. Just sitting on the deck, watching the views and listening to the sound was exactly what we both needed. The house was clean beautiful and felt homey. We enjoyed sitting in the hot tub while star gazing. Let’s talk about the beds…oh my goodness, they were like sleeping on clouds! We slept extremely well ✌️ definitely a place we would come back to!! Thank you for sharing your home with us!

We really loved this house. It offers stunning views and great amenities. It was a great time. There are some things that need to be repaired around the property such as the chairs and tables on every deck level, the chairs on the dock as well as the bench. My husband and I refused to use the stairs outside from the second to the third floor because they were rotted and unstable. The hot tub needs a new face plate to protect the filters. All mostly cosmetic issues. Everything else was perfect.

This was a very comfortable house and situated perfectly for someone who wants access to the sound. You could bring a small boat and pilot it from any of the local boat ramps back to the house to dock. It would’ve been good to know there is a kayak on premises (didn’t need to bring our own). It was a cold week and high north winds and one day of torrential rains, so the hot tub sure did feel good the few times we needed really warm up. I will say, I don’t understand the emphasis on “grill is for owner use only” (it is the first, singular statement I’m the rental agreement). We imagined it was something super fancy, but it was just a “state park” old fashioned style grill on a post. It was a bit of a pain to bring our own charcoal grill. If we had been able to sue the existing grill we would’ve left it very clean just as we did the house…

This house is lovely! We very much enjoyed our stay. You can tell the owner put a lot of work into the house. The location is beautiful and the views are to die for! Perfect spot to fish off the dock. We did had an issue with the coffee machine. There were 3 and each was missing parts/broken. I let management know and within 3 hours a new pot was sitting at our front door. My 3 yo also accidentally kicked off the silent alarm by accidentally unplugging the unit. Management called and they were very king and understanding. My only suggestions for the house: new outdoor furniture by the dock, some solar outdoor string lights for the top deck and down by the dock, and some new family games. The outdoor furniture by the dock was not really usable. It was splintered and wobbly. We used our beach chairs instead. Wasn’t a big deal. Some solar outdoor string lights on the top deck, around the hot tub, and down by the dock would add some great beach vibes to this already amazing house. Lastly, adding some family games for tenets would be a great feature for rainy days. Chess, connect 4, battleship, twister, candy land… just some examples. It rained one day and we totally forgot to pack a game or two. We would totally stay here again. The house was super clean upon arrival, no issues with insects inside or outside the house, hot tub worked great, the sun room was fantastic (loved the cough… wonder where it’s from haha), and the location is breathtaking during sunsets! Probably our favorite house that we’ve stayed in the OBX, and we been coming to Avon/Hatteras on vacation twice a year for almost 10 years.

Overall, we had a great time at this property. Unfortunately the hot tub didn't work after the first night. We tried to contact the management company and received an automatic reply but they didn't offer any help before our departure. The house was well equipped and clean. The house could use some fresh paint here and there and maybe some new carpet but those were minor issues. Also, we were offered early check in which was nice too. The beds including the bunk beds and other furniture were comfortable and clean.
