FO65 Hatteras High 65

Overall, it was one of our favorite stays in the OBX, and we have been coming there for 23 years. Everything was great except for the TVs. We don't watch a lot of TV on vacation, but it is nice for winding down the little ones in the evenings. I sent two messages, but never heard anything. We could tell the living room area accommodation pets, but it wasn't bad. Hatteras Realty was wonderful, and even agreed to store my son's surfboard in lost and found until we return. He ended up selling it, but the gesture was greatly appreciated.

Wonderful Beach Stay – Perfect Location and Amenities!We had a great stay and love that this rental offers flexible partial-week bookings and is dog-friendly! The location is absolutely perfect—just steps from the beach and only a short drive to the Canadian Hole for wing foiling.The house itself is very spacious, and the updated kitchen is wonderfully well-stocked with everything you need. While the rest of the home has a more classic, traditional feel, it was comfortable and served our group perfectly. As a couple of quick ideas to make the space even better for future guests, adding double bunk beds in one or two of the bedrooms would be an awesome way to maximize the great layout, and adding a porch light or LED lighting at the entrances would make night arrivals even easier.Overall, a fantastic, convenient place to stay. We highly appreciate this being available!

The Property was very spacious and a short walk to the beach. It could use a little updating, but most rental homes in the area are slighlty dated, so its very much in line with this market, and better than many places that I have rented on the island. We only had 2 people staying, but you could easily have 8-10 or more without issues. It also had everything you need in regards to kitchen supplies ETC. The check in process was very smooth, I have no complaints and would definitely stay here again. It also had two very nice spacious decks and a screened in outdoor porch for dining that was very nice.

This house is located PERFECTLY between Hatteras Village and Frisco. It’s close to great food and shopping. 3 bedrooms on the 2nd floor and 1 on the third floor. The first floor is just a door to the stairs. Up the stairs is a “master” suite, a bedroom with a queen and a bedroom with 2 twins. These two bedrooms share a bathroom WITH the one bedroom on the third floor. There is only a 1/2 bath on the main floor. The kitchen has all the cooking things you need and lots of counter space. There are no dish towels so bring those. There is also no hand soap provided in the bathrooms, but the dollar general is just a few miles away. Lots of porch space with plenty of doors. Yard is nice because it’s “private” on one side, no house next door. Cleaning station for fish is great too. Definitely a great space for a small group.

Hatteras High 65 was perfect for our family of five. Everyone had their own space, plenty of community living space for us to gather, have dinner, enjoy a board game. Kitchen had plenty of pots and pans as we prepared all of our meals at the house. The beautiful beach was a short, five minute walk for relaxation. The bathrooms were sufficient for us. The kitchen is nice with granite countertops. The outside seating area was wonderful to enjoy the breeze and read a book. Great space for a family of teens. Three of the bedrooms were on a different level from the living room and kitchen - not an issue for our family with teens.

Planned a week long fishing trip with my son for his 8th birthday. Clean house as seen in the photos. Wouldn’t hesitate to go her again.
